Thx for the candys, but Druid feral still needs help, we’ve a lot of problems to be competitive in Aoe and we depend from 4 tier bonus (nerfed -40%). A good beginning could be remove all caps (5 or 8 units dmg reduced) from feral Druids spells

Currency grinding is not engaging gameplay. There needs to be a re-branding of sorts when it comes to WoW Systems. Dev team can do better at large because multiple useless currencies that serve no purpose is not the point of the game.

No new shadow priest nerfs? What gives? We’re only performing abysmally. Definitely in desperate need of a random nerf sometime soon. We’re the single dps spec of an entire class at risk of not being last overall. Please hurry!

Absolutely horrid and completely out-of-touch elemental shaman nerf in the name of ‘accessibility’.

It would make sense if there was some amount of compensation to make up for the lost dmg of a mid tier spec…

hope they revert or compensate ASAP.

    • Beast Mastery
      • (4) Set Bonus: Multi-Shot will now also light up on your action bar when the Killing Frenzy buff is active.
  • Monk
    • Fixed an issue that prevented Fallen Order (Venthyr Ability) adepts and Mistweaver’s Yu’lon effigy from gaining reduced damage from area of effect attacks similar to other pets and guardians.
    • Fixed an issue where Sinister Teachings (Venthyr Runecarving Power) would not always apply its cooldown reduction after logging in until the legendary was re-equipped.

  • Pocopoc’s Energy is now updated immediately after researching Maxlim.

  • Sepulcher of the First Ones
    • Vigilant Guardian
      • Force Field now reduces damage taken by exposed core by 90% on Mythic Difficulty (was 80%).
      • Slightly lowered the spawn rate of Volatile Materium and Pre-Fabricate on Mythic difficulty.
      • Reduced the damage of Radioactive Core by 12% on Mythic difficulty.
      • Reduced the damage of Fractured Core by 15% on Mythic difficulty.
    • Artificer Xy’mox
      • Reduced the energy regeneration rate of Xy Acolytes on Raid Finder and Normal difficulty.
    • Prototype Pantheon
      • Withering Seeds now spawn nearby Necrotic Ritualists on all difficulties.
    • Halondrus the Reclaimer
      • Fixed an issue causing players to be unable to mount in the Shimmering Cliffs.
      • Fixed an issue causing rogues to be unable to use Shadowstep against Halondrus.
    • Anduin Wrynn
      • 3 Grim Reflections are now summoned on Heroic difficulty (was 4).
      • Monstrous Soul Health reduced by 5% on Heroic difficulty.
      • Monstrous Soul’s Necrotic Detonation can be cast while moving on all difficulties.
      • Befouled Barrier absorb amount reduced by 25% on Normal and Heroic difficulty.
      • Remorseless Winter damage reduced by 20% on Normal and Heroic difficulty.
      • Holy Priest’s healing Anduin’s Hope with Guardian Spirit active should now reduce the cooldown of Guardian Spirit.
      • Fixed an issue causing Soul Explosion to hit pets.
    • Lords of Dread
      • Players are now protected from Cloud of Carrion for a brief moment after being afflicted with Paranoia.
  • Mythic+
    • Encrypted Affix
      • Improved the visibility of Urh’s Force Slam ability.
      • The stealth provided by the Wo Cloaking Field is now much stealthier.
      • Decreased Vy Interceptor’s teleport frequency and range.
  • Mythic Dungeons
    • Enemy damage increased by 21% and health increased by 31% on Mythic Dungeon difficulty.
      • Developers’ note: We are fixing an issue with the difficulty of Mythic Dungeons (Mythic 0) not being increased by the intended amount with the start of Season 3, which has caused an unintended difficulty gap between Mythic 0 and Mythic +2. After the change goes live momentarily, it should help make advancing from Mythic 0 dungeons into attempting Keystones feel smoother and less of a big jump in difficulty.

Player versus Player

  • Fixed an issue that caused players to gain twice the amount of credit for “Soloing Strategy” weekly quest while participating in Solo Shuffle.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Maldraxxus Coliseum from being selected as a map for War Games.


  • With this week’s scheduled weekly maintenance, fixed an issue where the drop rate of Progenitor Essentia from the tribute rewarded from the weekly quest “Patterns Within Patterns” was not increased.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the catapult from firing in some situations in “The Splintered Fleet” scenario.
  • Fixed an issue where Jarl Velbrand’s level was too high for the quest “To Tame the Drekirjar.”
  • Homing Robot OOX-09/HL will no longer get lost when trying to cross the water during the quest “Rescue OOX-09/HL!”

Hi Linxy,

Can you please respond to the elemental adjustments in these patch notes? The community has been more active than ever in opposing these changes, or at least providing feedback for buffs to offset a rather huge single target reduction caused by something not considered by blizzard to be a ‘class balance’ issue. It’s incredibly disheartening to see so many passionate shaman players actively trying to get developer attention on these changes to no avail.

MARCH 9, 2022


  • Hunter
    • Fixed a tooltip issue where the Secrets of the Unblinking Vigil (Runecarving Power) said it has a 100% chance to activate the effect when the chance is actually 50%.
  • Shaman
    • Enhancement
      • Lava Lash spread Flame Shocks now prioritize targets with the Lashing Flames (Talent) debuff.
      • Lava Lash spread Flame Shocks no longer apply to neutral enemies that are out of combat.
      • Lava Lash spread Flame Shocks no longer apply to enemies that are under the effects of a crowd control ability that breaks from damage.
      • Fixed an issue where Flame Shock would potentially fall off the primary target when Flame Shock was spread on the maximum number of targets.
      • Lava Lash will no longer refresh Flame Shock on your primary target.
  • Warlock
    • Warlocks can now apply Succubus-specific cosmetic glyphs to Summon Sayaad and Summon Succubus. Succubus glyphs will be maintained, even when they have chosen Summon Incubus or Summon Sayaad.

Creatures and NPCs

  • Mounts are no longer disabled around the quest characters in the center of Haven.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Sepulcher of the First Ones
    • Vigilant Guardian
      • Vigilant Guardian health reduced by 10% on Mythic difficulty.
      • Spike of Creation damage reduced by 50% on Mythic difficulty.
      • Force Field is now cancelled 3 seconds after Exposed Core completes.
      • Pneumatic Impact now resets Vigilant Guardian’s melee swing timer.
      • Point Defense Drones should no longer cast Blast when the Vigilant Guardian is channeling Exposed Core.
      • Blast range reduced to 40 yards (was 100 yards).
    • Artificer Xy’mox
      • Genesis Rings initial hit now only occurs once, and the lingering additional damage reduced by 50% on Raid Finder difficulty.
      • The encounter’s enrage timer has been increased to 10 minutes on Mythic difficulty (was 7 minutes).
    • Prototype Pantheon
      • Bastion’s Ward should no longer spawn atop Necrotic Ritualists.
    • Lords of Dread
      • Mal’Ganis and Kin’tessa health reduced by 10% on Normal difficulty.
      • The encounter’s enrage timer has been increased to 13 minutes on Normal difficulty (was 11 minutes).
    • Rygelon
      • Fixed a rare issue that could sometimes cause Celestial Collapse to be cast a third time during a single phase.
  • Mythic+
    • Encrypted Affix
      • Fixed an issue causing Decrypted Urh Cypher to not reduce some cooldowns.

Items and Rewards

  • Fixed an issue where the following trinkets’ on-use cooldowns wouldn’t reset after a raid boss encounter ends:
    • The First Sigil
    • Chains of Domination
    • Earthbreaker’s Impact
    • Cache of Acquired Treasures
    • Grim Eclipse
    • Intrusive Thoughtcage
  • The Dance Dance Darkmoon item is now a toy and has been added to the Toy Box.


  • Fixed an issue that could prevent the use of the Anima Wyrm’s Necrotic Barrage during the quest “A Hasty Voyage.”

Edit – Updated with an additional hotfix for Enhancement Shaman:

  • Lava Lash spread Flame Shocks no longer apply to enemies that are under the effects of a crowd control ability that breaks from damage.

So, you guys really hate shaman in general right?

Ele had a build and now it’s removed with nothing to compensate them and Enhancement had a HUGE QoL change only to be destroyed making the spec feel really weird to play now.

I’d rather see a change in how much damage flame shock does rather than have this change to flame shock (at least the refresh part, the rest is ok)

Removing lava lash refresh is annoying and doesn’t really change anything so why would you take it away? Everytime enhancement starts to feel good you guys do stupid things like this.

Edit: Just saw on shaman forums they are going to put back in refresh in another hotfix thank you !!!

so cringe that a blue still hasn’t addressed the ‘accessability’ change to ele shaman that was effectively a large nerf with no compensation.

Address the concerns of your elemental shaman community, thier nerf wanst based on class performance and had a huge negative affect on class performance. This isn’t right and the developers and forums blue commentators on going demonstration of apathy is actually alarming. We need to know you are on this and it will be fixed


Fix the elemental shamans that were destroyed by a button push frequency nerf, in a world of macros and gaming key boards.

  • Qualified characters have been awarded the Tormented Hero: Shadowlands Season 2 achievement and title.


  • Death Knight
    • Blood
      • (2) Set Bonus: The Strength buff and Dancing Rune Weapon duration extension effects will now be correctly applied to Heart Strikes cast by the Death Knight’s Dancing Rune Weapons.
    • Unholy
      • (4) Set Bonus: Harvest Time will now be correctly applied when the target is killed by Soul Reaper.
  • Shaman
    • Enhancement
      • Lava Lash will once again refresh Flame Shock on your primary target.
      • Fixed an issue where refreshing Flame Shocks with Lava Lash would not prioritize targets with Lashing Flames in some situations.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Sepulcher of the First Ones
    • Adjusting the location of devourers in Ephemeral Plains to help make pulls clearer and reduce the concentration of enemies.
    • Vigilant Guardian
      • Vigilant Guardian’s health reduced by 5% on Raid Finder difficulty.
    • Lihuvim, Principal Architect
      • Degeneration Automa’s Degenerate now has a maximum range of 30 yards.
    • Halondrus the Reclaimer
      • Decreased the amount of damage Eternity Overdrive gains per application to 42% of its original value on all difficulties (was 50%).
      • Fixed an issue that caused Halondrus to sometimes delay Relocation Form while casting other spells in quick succession.
      • Fixed an issue that caused Shatter to not display its entire visual effect if Projected Textures were disabled in System settings.
      • Fixed an issue that caused the stone gates in the Shimmering Cliffs to not close properly when the encounter ends in failure.
  • Mythic+
    • Encrypted Affix
      • You now only need to destroy 1 relic to summon your desired automa. After destroying the first relic in a set, the other two are destroyed automatically.
        • Developers’ note: This should be a small quality of life improvement in terms of both the amount of damage required to summon an automa (especially on bosses), and the amount of time extra nameplates spend on the screen.
      • Fixed an issue where the wrong automa could be summoned after defeating a set of relics.
      • Adjusted the spawn locations of several Xy Relic Dealers.
      • Halls of Atonement
        • Echelon
          • Fixed an issue causing Relics to not properly spawn when arriving in the encounter area.
      • The Necrotic Wake
        • Amarth
          • Fixed an issue causing Relics to not properly spawn.
        • Surgeon Stitchflesh
          • Fixed an issue that caused Stitchflesh’s Creation to hit Wo, Vy or Urh automa with Meat Hook.
            • Developers’ note: The Vy Interceptor frequently teleports to a new location, which can be a frustrating obstacle to a well-aimed Meat Hook during the encounter. This change should remove the unfair overlap of these two abilities.
  • Tazavesh: So’leah’s Gambit
    • Hylbrande
      • Vault Purifiers no longer immediately attack players as soon as they land.

Items and Rewards

  • The Sandworn Chest minimap icon will no longer appear once a player has looted the chest once that day.
  • The Sandworn Chest can now be looted by more players before despawning.
  • Fixed an issue where Reclaimer’s Intensity Core trinket would unintentionally pull nearby enemies toward the user after the Automa Medic expires. It now has learned who’s friendly and who’s not.

Player versus Player

  • Fixed an issue with the trinket quest “A New Deal” that prevented the trinkets from being obtainable by players as intended.
    • Developers’ note: If you’re still encountering the issue and can’t see the trinket rewards, relogging back into the game should resolve it.
