For some in its player base it has a low ROI. I need to get 40 quality hours in it. And I will get that, its has some good stuff.
But at 40, or maybe 50, hours the ye olde dollar per hour spent rule some gamers have has been met. I can leave any time after and go I didnât waste my money.
I will play beyond that a bit butâŠyeahâŠit doesnât have skyrim replayability. where I have bought that game 3 times (pc, xbox, switch)âŠand still have very good ROI on costs for it. 3 time 50 $150. Pssh to 150 hours. Well over 1000 hours.

The real reason for my grumblings here. there are some game issues, to me, that would be along the same lines as these âwokeâ changes.
The time it take change Master Baiter to the new name? yeahâŠabout the same time as it be to change value in some other object.
Quests x,y and z with the famed mechanic of RNG iem drop. Will you kill 30,40, 50 mobs to get this? only the assumed .33 value for arguments sake in drop frequency knows.
Lets change that toâŠ1.00. save done. Hell I can be fair. .75. RNG really has to hate for bad drops at that .75 rate even. Unless playing Xcom. I swear that game at 75% or more has you fail on purpose to bust balls. Shotgun at point blnk range 95% to hitâŠand its a miss.

Yeah, I would say for $40 itâs worth it but thatâs relative to someoneâs spending power. Thatâs basically a movie night for 2 people living in a big city.

Bugsâre going to happen. No matter how much any company tries to prevent them. I donât play NW, so not defending them because I like them or anything.
The hype wearing off isnât a sign the game sucks per se either, that happens with all games(âŠand also kind of why itâs silly to go âOMG LOOK HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE WATCHING THE STREAMS!!!â as a judge of quality as someone did).
Iâm sure people are getting their moneyâs worth though. I mean, it doesnât take all that much to get $40 of entertainment from something unless you set that bar really high. NW apparently has some pretty blatant shortfalls, and I hope Amazon gets those bugs ironed out and adds some content for people who like the game though.
Doesnât this game also have races with tails and fur? Tauren, worgen, pandas, vulpera, all have fur and tails. In fact, thereâs more fur in WoW than there is in FF14.
Also, you donât have to play as a cat person. There is a normal human race (Hyur) that you can play and I see plenty of players who picked that as their race.

I would further wonder if a game would be talked about more if they had a major sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuit filed against them by one of the state government organizations of the US. I mean, since people love to hear and talk about such things, and we all know they do, so donât bother denying it, youâd think youâd hear quite a bit about an MMORPG that was in such a situation. What MMORPG that we know of is in such a situation? Hmmn, let me think about it . . .

Played it for awhile. Just couldnât get into it like this game. New World have no interest in at all tbh. Last I heard characters canât even swim, and no mounts in that game lol. Doesnât help that already have many years, and $ invested into wow, and not interested in putting another dozen years into another game.
