New content was going to be delayed anyway because they’ve created systems that they themselves aren’t skilled to balance around. Takes a lot of time to Hotfix every 2 days until new content comes out. This seems like an excuse to get a pass on why they are functioning like a Indy Gaming Company.
Well I think they started taking a look at the wrong games as competition.
Hyping the WFR event on each patch
Hyping the in game store
Hyping 6 months subs with gifts (mount)
Hyping competitive mythic+ ( overwatch )
Hyping arena
When they started with seasons they found their treadmill formula… add some new content like Fortnite and you have your magic formula.
And many people are still playing and enjoying the game /shrug.

Nah man, the slippery-slope down has it’s roots in WoTLK.
I remember the “community” aspect of the game, close friendships, and tight-knit guilds were still intact up thru TBC.
I would say WoTLK is when the game started to feel generic and overly-casualized. By the time Cata rolled around the decay/downward trend had already set in.

PS - I know ubisoft fired the executives, but the toxic culture still is there. Same with blizzard. Its only going to be lip service

Steve Jobs said in an interview that over time companies become more about sales and less about design. The people who create are pushed out and then when the company needs to make new products they don’t have anyone who actually knows how. That’s what happening at Blizzard.

I don’t get it. These court cases take months sometimes years to work themselves out. Is no one planning on doing work for that long?

No it doesn’t. Pink isn’t that popular of a color. I SOLD the love rocket because i would NEVER use it. Not because ewww it’s womany!!! But because I don’t like the color.
