WoW Developers

Interested to see at the next Blizzcon (if it happens) the developers revealing to the developers what the developers wanted in World of Warcraft.

It’s gonna be lit.

Maybe one of them will tell the others “you think you do but you don’t.”

In this context hed then be 100% correct.

Then maybe blizz can get its sense back and give power to the players.

I play Smite and the developers actually helped put together a group of community-elected players to be in direct and frequent contact with the developers to provide direct feedback and to offer suggestions.

Perhaps something similar could work for WoW.

You pretty much summed up what is having Ion as a game director. These systemic expansions are the proof that he design the game for himself, not the players.

Another virtual streaming with tough question being avoided. Idk if anyone would be excited for blizzcon after what’s going with them lately.

I very much doubt Blizzard are going to do any convention with the hammer still to come slamming down.

Then you’d just end up with people like Asmongold and Bellular getting voted in, and we don’t want that.

Im going be honest ard why are you still with the game if you are not enjoying it?

I mean, if they get voted in, isn’t that the definition of people wanting that?

There’s a queue to get on New World at night and I still got some mogs to finish.

They flirted with this with SL early on when the devs did a handful of interviews with Preach, Sloot, etc., people that were actually giving thoughtful and constructive feedback (note, not Asmon or Bellular) and the result was effectively “yeah we hear you but we disagree”

they would only pick raid loggers and top M+ players for that.

there’d be some requirement to have AOTC and KSM to vote or something.

It’d be a lot better with them than having players like Preheat, or players from Echo be the representation. Which is way more likely than those 2, especially considering the Devs openly hate Asmon.

Honestly, I don’t want “top tier” players to have more influence than they already have. If you focus your game around the top 1% of your player base, you are simply setting a trajectory toward retaining only that 1%.

Pretty much this–does anyone here really think that they’d pick “Average Joe” Normal Raider or “Average Joe” M5-7 player? No shot.

Like the worthless MVP program? Where we got “great” people like palehoof, metro, and snowfox? That program should’ve been left in the trash like the garbage it is.

We’re already seeing the outcome of this. I have a quiet guild full of primarily “casual” players who simply left when it became completely evident that WoW was turning into something that they simply weren’t interested in.

Doubt there will be one.

And don’t you mean Dumpster Fire when you say “lit”?

Thanks for pointing out the obvious.

They’re largely popular by the undesirables. WoW wouldn’t do well having those people voting for 2 obnoxious, drama based content creators.

Yikes lmao
