You can already do 70-80 with ease in 3-4 days while only touching a handful of Northrend zones. It’s already too fast. No one is forcing you to play a game you want no part of.
Yes, so you can afk in Dalaran waiting for the game to play for you and auto teleport you to a random dungeon. Anything that reduces the players from interacting with each other and the game world is a mistake.
They should totally get rid of summoning stones then. Flightpaths too, as long as we’re at it. And every mob between every major city and the dungeon should daze, and be boss level - thus requiring the group to travel as a unit.
People like you are why RDF is such a great thing.
open up the servers man. never in wow history have u made it so people cant create a new charatcer on the realms meant for new charatcers created youvr taken that freedom and i know it wasnt ur idea we have very strange bad creatures on this forum just like real life who kept complaining over and over to lock servers that theyre not on and force people off servers.
and u all listened which u shouldnt have done. open the servers so i have freedom to play where i want with who i want. open for transfer also. its 4 months. theres no ques obviously
Y’all are confused. RDF people want it for level 15-70 so we can level alts and do dungeon quests without dealing with a dead old world. Y’all acting like we’re wanting it for current xpac and literally nobody has said that ever. Stop making up arguments so you can be offended by what others want. It’s cringey.
There’s nothing wrong with summoning stones or flightpaths. You’re directly communicating and interacting with other players when using summoning stones and the gryphon routes don’t send you to outer space where you can just point your character in the general vicinity of your destination and no longer be viewable by anyone on the ground. The entire reason why Vanilla works and did work so well throughout Classic is because people playing constantly see other people doing stuff. No one that actually enjoys MMOs wants to feel like they’re alone. Your strawman argument is straight cope.
It was the final intended content phase. If things went to plan Cata would have been out six months earlier. RDF was clearly a feature that was created within the Cata development pipeline.
Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but hasn’t it already been stated that RDF was planned for Wraths launch but ran into some development delays or something along those lines?
Read what the dev’s said about RDF - they wanted it in the game since Vanilla. It was added when it was because that’s when they got the tech right. RDF had nothing to do with Cata or ICC or anything else - it’s just a group finding tool they worked on until they “got it right.” <— their words.
Smh, It wasn’t RDF that killed the game. It was Raid finder with stacked raid groups to guarantee items, and the trolls… never forget about the trolls.
Honestly it was the whole server integration where you would run into people that were not part of your server that killed it for me as the game lost all community at that point.
