I don’t really disagree, but I wonder how price changes would effect populations.
Personally, I wish that transfers were not a thing at all, but they are. So, idk how I feel. Maybe if they were way more expensive (like $500/character), it would prevent people from doing it, and/or have people put more effort into determining their preferred server.

This is a wild guess…but did you by chance get blacklisted (for whatever reason)?
It just kind of seems like it. You could otherwise just ignore those people—unless they refuse to interact with you for reasons you haven’t made known.

Never had to transfer, but dayum 25$ for a char? I would pay 25$ for all the chars on a server ya. Or tops 5$ per char… gee extortion.

It is called Stockholm Syndrome, and is a common affliction amongst PvP players.
Look at it this way - are you going to play at least 25 more hours on each of your character? Doesn’t seem unreasonable for WoW. Is $1 per hour that much compared to how much more fun you are going to have on your new realm in each of those hours?
