WoW Classic Pre-Launch Test 11:00 a.m. PDT August 8 and Minimum Specs

I think with the release of Classic, since we are going back to before the cataclysm, they should make a new time line for us to follow, where the cataclysm dosnt happen, something else takes it place, that way to keep it separate from BFA, BFA having one set of timelines we play, and Classic having its own, maybe towards the alliance? im a horde player just saying, but it would be neat to see something new happen, instead of the old content carrying on

your looking at wrong time zone my friend, 2 more hours

Too late for that suggestion.

If my WoW Classic Play button is grayed out does that mean I am good to go until 11am?

@Discogasmic ya I’m hoping the grayed out Play button magically lights up at 11am PDT.

I am having the issue of not being able to download the classic version? I have a game time so I am at a complete loss at the moment.

I hope the latest wow expansion after azeroth to be as hard and with skill tree like wow classic and same viral world pvp like there !!!

Please tell me some addons will be allowed. Especially Healbot for healers!

Yes please. I would love that so I totally agree with you here.

Hey, me too. IdeaPad with HD4000 graphics!

Will we keep our characters after this test or no? Anyone know?

Working from home today. Receiving a very important package.

Hello,
I believe I saw someone with a similar issue earlier and he said reinstalling the Battle net app fixed it.

alright I will reinstall it and see if that helps thank you very very much!

No, unless Blizzard does something that hasn’t ever been done before that is. All progress in betas, PTR’s and stress tests are for testing purposes only and gets wiped when it’s over.

We can reserve three names next week though.

I have heard only quality of life addons, i.e. quest trackers, recount, onebag, etc will be allowed. Anything that aids in game mechanics will not. Healbot was one of the examples that I heard that would not be allowed. If that has changed would someone please let me know.

Not seeing this answered yet, if it has been just ignore.

You no longer need to buy the game at all, you only need an active sub or game time. The base game up to Legion content is now free, without needing to buy it. If you wanted to play the latest expansion though, you would need to purchase BfA to play the latest content up to level 120.

They changed this a while back, so no, he will not need to buy the game at all actually, just subscribe. Again, unless he wants to play Battle for Azeroth. One subscription gets you retail up to Legion content and Classic. Not bad at all.
