Everyone, you have to take some accountability here as well. We know Blizzard messed this up but we saw the writing on the wall day 1,2,3,4,5,6 & 7. It’s only been a week…if u hit it hard maybe u shouldn’t have? So being invested sucks but you did have a part in making your own bed here. Just give them time. I for one have been waiting years so a few weeks again sucks but isn’t that big of deal long term.
Lastly, avoid being stuck on specific names. Be more flexible…try something new?

Thanks Blizzard. I was so sick of these queues and I couldn’t get my friends to reroll on a smaller server because of their time investment.
This comment is preposterous, were WoW players lol. For us a week is a drop in the bucket. Your comment cracks me up, If you truly “valued your time” you would do many things differently. That’s all I’m going to say without getting petty.
Its been a WEEK. This is not a difficult problem, and there is a solution.

This is dissapointing. I was hoping for a more broad solution to the issue. Due to the queue times, not a single one of my friend groups ended up on the same server. 5 or 6 different communities and groups of friends that I would like to connect with are still being divided because it’s still impossible for some of us to play with them, not to mention already having 60+ hours devoted to certain characters.

It is a legit complaint and I would support them simply restricting it to brand new servers.

…do you have a clue on classic pops. A classic server even at low pop is 4x the size of a full/locked vanilla server back in 2004.
The servers are massive.
Then I will tell you that I was in que last night right before making the post and it wasn’t an option. My post is 100% correct.

If all of you wanted to play together then why didn’t you roll on the same server to begin with? If some wanted to reroll but others chose to stay put then your being scattered to the winds is your own fault.

Does this mean free character transfers will only be open 1 day?
Dear Bliz,
While this style of transfers has the potential to help with server overpopulation, it does nothing to motivate us to move off current servers besides the hope for a shorter que time.
Due to the insane que times and the staggered server release, many of us have friends/guildies who are strewn across multiple servers.
If you must have the transfers restricted as you have indicated so far, please open the gates after the worst of the imbalance has been alleviated.
BTW - even with the chaos, we’re LOVING playing classic

will there be downtime? a period where we are unable to play on recently transferred characters?
is there a limit on how many characters we can transfer?
are the TO servers the same timezones as the FROM servers?
Thank you! Regardless of all the whining, I’m sure enough people will transfer from the high pop servers to help the problem. This is much better than NOTHING, which is what many people expected.

Why are you allowing transfers to a realm that just opened a few days ago?? I haven’t even seen someone over 40 on Anathema yet and now you’re going to let 60s transfer over with more /played than the age of the server itself?
It’s obvious no real thought or consideration for the players was put into this…

Why not improve the realms with more slots instead of create new ones or move to a empty realms?
