Guild banks? please?
I’m a huge fan of dual spec, but even I agree, being able to do it on the fly between bosses in raids would be silly. It should absolutely be limited to cities.
These changes will be on the Hardcore Anniversary Realm correct? There are people questioning if they will be or not, since HC has a special ruleset.
Some quick clarification would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for the fresh servers with no GDKP! Looking forward to playing.
A way to turn off experience would be amazing…for the twinking community.
congrats on being druid
A silly implementation of a change would be silly yes
Lmao watching you meltdown has been so funny. As if classic raids have ever been hard.
Alliance Shamy and Horde Pally please. PLEASE. PLEEEEEEEASE.
It’s no wonder that retail has gone in the direction it has when there’s such a vocal part of the base whining that they’ll actually have to play the game. “I can’t buy my gear? 0/10 worst game in existence” like we see you guys, you can make up all the excuses you want for being lazy or just bad. Go cry from the top of your $90 brutosaur mounts and leave classic to the grown ups.
Can we please get an update on name reservations Kaivax?
I friggen love this new chance to start all over with everyone else building up the economy together.
Then advancing to TBC!
I’m all in.
When is the next update of changes no one asked for?
That’s an insane conclusion to draw for no reason. Vanilla purists are so dramatic. “Grown ups” give me a break kid.
Will these characters be able to transfer to Classic Era once TBC releases?
Just adding my own voice to the conversation;
I think dual-spec needs to be removed. It fundamentally changes the entire experience of the game, in a pretty major way. Dual-spec was the start of truly “cookie-cutter min-max” builds, because having to truly consider your decisions is very much a huge part of the “RPG” element of the game. That is particularly important in Classic, which is a big part of why players feel so much more personally invested in their character.
Adding dual-spec only encouraged the most efficient, specialized builds, and leaves your character feeling a lot more shallow, as your talents are little more than a “loadout” at that point.
I respect the willingness to make changes, and I think the other changes are great. But I think dual-spec, whether you enjoy it or not, simply changes the core experience of Classic WoW too much, and I would urge the devs to reconsider its addition.

I’m largely fine with the changes they’ve made. A bunch of them are made to make the game better, but seeing that this is supposed to be a fresh start to Classic, why wouldn’t they just reuse the old servers? Sure the people there would complain if they have characters left on the era servers, but lets be real, there’s going to be people complaining about the game for some reason or another.
While having three new certain servers for PVE, PVP, and HC is nice, there are like dozens of era servers that lie basically empty, wouldn’t it be easier to reset those servers instead of making three new servers to maintain?
Can Blizzard please, clarify what will happen to those who do not want to go to TBC and if there will be an option to jump ship for them and keep their characters, as well as is the plan to keep the servers at TBC, providing a forever TBC server similar to the ERA servers which is what most people who want TBC want
Concerning Dual Spec, once the servers transition to TBC, and HC becomes a standard server, will it lose Dual Spec, or will it keep it and how will this effect the other servers, and the location it can transfer characters to at that point. This question would also impact ERA servers if users are given the opportunity to go to them servers prior to the TBC transition.
Hey Kaivax, I am once again asking for information on name reservations. I am working that day at that time and unfortunately I feel like a few names that I am close to will be taken. Please inform us on the status of name reservations.
