Youll be able to create a horde character. Just view it as a queue.
No thanks. Dont want any of these changes.
You guys really tryin to ruin classic already 3 days before launch?
Might as well just call it sod 2.0 and buff ret pallies while you’re at it too…
I actually agree with the GDKP ban. But i also agree the biggest issue is gold buyers, if no one bought gold there would be no market for the sellers.
I reported the same website, with multiple players on mankrik advertising boosting and gold over the past 2 weeks, at least 25 times for the same website and players. 2 weeks later the same website is still advertised on era at least 200 times per hour.
anyone buying gold should have that account deleted. no exceptions. if this happened gold selling would not exist
I mean the issue is blizzard refuses to actually deal with bots.
The only people I ever saw crying even before these changes were brought out as an idea was people like you.
Seethe.
If no one bought gold GDKPs will still have high price pools for items just slightly lower based on current inflation. Still making it gate keepy for regular players who wish to raid. Making it so they’d have to get gold payouts for the first 2 months before they can buy a high ticket item they want/need.
Gold buying came in because GDKPs made the door for it. Maybe someone should bring back DKP with a different system for generating points to get gear…
Btw GDKP being banned doesnt mean it wont exist and also it wont mean buying gold for other means wont exist… Like flipping the market on its head or using gold for other services etc that benefit the player buying or hurt players that didnt buy.
RMT existed in WoW long before GDKP’s became popular.
GDKPs existed when WoW launched thanks to Everquest.
Anything else?
(Also as far as I can tell GDKP and gold buying became popular together at the same time around Wrath…)
I didn’t say they didn’t exist, I said they weren’t nearly as popular.
And RMT was running just as rampant then as it is now or for that matter in SoD where GDKP’s are banned.
Brings up my main point.
You cant remove 1 side without the other going more underground and insane.
People say gold buying is the root. Well go ahead, ban the buyers. Watch 80% of the subs tank for blizzard because lets be honest. EVERYONE has bought gold.
Its why they dont ban people using duped gear in Diablo anymore like they use to in 3. Cause they were banning their piggy banks from paying.
Its ethical to ban gold buyers yes and bots but it cuts blizzards bottom line. They simply wont do it.
If gold buying is banned along with GDKPs then you’ll have something else pop up requiring the gold from sellers and create a new system to gate keep players into buying gold.
Past rank 11 you need to grind out 500k honor to advance to the next rank. Still have to no life grind only good think is you can take off weeks with out having to worry about de ranking
GDKP created a toxic environment
Good maybe rank 14 shouldnt be for everybody
naxx would have been fun if i could have found a guild that didnt require world buffs for every raid
If its just “body type 2” why can’t it be topless?
Just cancelled too.
OCE SERVERS pls

But in all seriousness I’m hoping for a fun launch and wishing everyone has a GREAT time even if the changes are not for you.
The new information on mail, duel spec, and instant mail is nice. Hardcore players are hyped to have a return of streamers and their followers. With that said blizzard should announce HC to HC server transfers for when MC releases as soon as possible. Consider this, you’ve struggled to make it to 60 on what you consider your favorite or main class. This journey might have taken several attempts, and many hours. Hardcore is about the leveling journey and the challenge of not dying. Now with a new server coming out a lot of the population will reroll on the new server. With duel spec, instant mail and no buff cap it’s a more complete server. Non streamers don’t dedicate 7 hours a day to play wow, and aren’t getting paid to play. With that said the hard work Hardcore players have already done is being scrapped. Well after a while the HC scene will die down again, probably groupies realize how difficult it is. At that point a sever merge or transfers to consolidate servers will be needed. Why do we need a HC to HC transfer server announcement before launch? Well, if you’re a current hardcore player who prefers a class as a main, you’ve probably tried several times to hit 60 on it. If you’ve succeeded, blizzard is now telling you to put those hours back in on the same game mode. Many current hardcore players don’t want to level their mains back to sixty if they’ve already gone through the process. Likewise, if an announcement isn’t made soon many will spend hours leveling a hc character again that they already have on another realm. I know the purpose of a new server is to reset the economy and set up phases, and many current HC players are excited about this. But HC to HC transfers would ensure that people don’t have to redo all the hard work they’ve put in. Simply make the transfers not available in till molten cores release(3 weeks). Make a gold cap for transfers(say 30-50g). Limit the items that can be taken with the character to only pre raid items. These things would go a long way to pleasing both the new HC players and the Old.
