We’re particularly excited to reveal that Normal (PvE) and PvP fresh Anniversary realms will progress to Burning Crusade Classic, after we progress through the Classic Era content phases. This will be our first visit back to the start of this beloved expansion since its launch in 2021.

And how long is this? Will we be given the choice to migrate to an Era server? Will BC finally have Era servers?

Our new Hardcore Anniversary realms will not progress to Burning Crusade Classic. Hardcore has always been focused on the Classic 1-60 journey, made truly viable and approachable thanks to Classic’s original mechanics and difficulty. Burning Crusade brings with it a level of challenge (and randomness) that we feel doesn’t fit Hardcore.

This is a huge mistake, there already are non-TBC HC realms. Progressing these to TBC would be extremely exciting to see how players can come up with strategies in a new game - HC Classic is already solved, we’ve had deathless runs of every raid within only a few months of release. Give us the next step.

They can implement the new races before they add the Outland content. There was a two week pre-patch period back in 2021 where they did this. No reason it can’t be a full year.

Slightly disappointed in this one. I think blaming GDKP is a scapegoat for the real problem, which is bots and gold buyers allowing to run with impunity. I would much rather see Blizzard come up with solutions regarding the bots especially, and I find it hard to believe there are no solutions given how incredibly obvious they are.

The skeptic in me thinks you are allowing the problem to fester because you can profit from the subs, which means you’re deliberately trading in game experience for profit. This stance continues to disappoint me.

The GDKPs aren’t the problem, it’s the people that are. People tend to take GDKPs too far and swipers start giving them a bad name.

sounds like a sensible system that helps you find groups, but isn’t automatic and certainly no teleports to dungeons a fine new addition to classic.

To support group play, we’re introducing a Looking for Group (LFG) tool, which will allow players to create, join, and browse parties manually.

Does this mean there will be an option to have your party open to anyone who wants to join or are we still submitting resumes?

I’m no fan of GDKP. I would NEVER (and have never) participated in one, BUT I would be just fine with there being a GDKP Permitted PvE and PvP realms so those players have a place to play as well.

Plus this would stop anyone from trying to secretly run GDKPs on the servers that ban it.

With ionly one PvP and one PvE realm per region it’s good they do not add RP realms, they would just serve as owerflow for people not wanting to queue - that’s what happened to any PvE-RP server since 2019
