Will there be any just simple quality of life changes? Like summoning stones able to be used at dungeons vs everyone running there. I know it’s part of the classic experience and by no means am I complaining. It’s just wishful thinking and hope that to be implemented. I know I can’t be the only one wishing for that update as some of us are limited on the time we can play and using an hour out of the 3 or so we can play to run to a dungeon might get old and burn some players out faster than intended.
It’s because too many idiots will dismount their flying mounts and die. And blizz has no interest in adding in guard rails for these people, and to avoid this drama entirely, they’re just not even doing the expac.
You know, I’m actually not surprised if that’s a small part of it. But HC is already no appeal even for network lag and disconnects. If disconnecting from the client isn’t appealable then I don’t see why flying mount deaths would be either, when that’s 100% player error. All they’d have to do is put it on their rules list like they did with Classic HC
So this will be Classic phases right? HoJ on Angerforge and not on the Emperor? No phase 5 loot changes for drop rates or new added loot right? Hunters will not benefit from attack power items that was changed with phase 6 and Naxx update right? Or will they? So many unanswered questions.
So if a player buys portals/summons and doesn’t pay for them, is there a punishment/penalty? In SoD, a bunch of players didn’t pay for it.
Two ways to address this without Blizzard monitoring.
- You dont cast the portal until the trade is completed.
- Many who “professionally” sell portals and summons have a discord set up, and typically there is a channel for tracking the non-paying individuals. That will dry up their portal buying fairly quickly.
Will an option be given to not progress into TBC and just start in a WoW Classic? I have no interest in advancing to TBC as I do not like the expansions.
Why does everything need to be policed by Blizzard? This is not a theme park, danger and having to trust other player is part of the experience.
That’s just plain stupid. People fall to their death from cliffs, trees and bridges in Era HC with no big cry - remember Deathlog, falling was number 1 or 2 cause of death. Adding one more way of dying to fall damage will change absolutely nothing.
You said so funny, blizz officially launched the chat for summoner/portal so they have a right of responsibility.
#Changes.
Tweak the numbers to make weak classes a little more viable. Druid hots should scale better with +healing, hunter pets should have some scaling with gear… Don’t touch abilities, don’t touch talents… We don’t trust you. But I’d love to see some other classes besides the standard meta.
Seeking clarification about transfers away from fresh realms… Once progression is complete (e.g., phase 6 release) and the servers prepare to transition to TBC, will we be able to transfer from a fresh realm to an existing Classic Era realm so we can reunite/consolidate characters? Or will our “fresh realm” characters forever remain apart/separate from our existing ones? I’m assuming we will have the option to remain on a fresh Era server or copy our character to TBC like last time because if we are forced to move to TBC (unlike last time), this would all be for nought.
WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Edition will conclude in Winter 2025/Spring 2026
I think the word “conclude” here is quite interesting. Are they going to simply close down the servers
Man…whatever happened to that one guy that whined non-stop about being forced to move to TBC because he didn’t want to pay to clone his characters…yes, even after literally everyone told him that staying on era was free and that the clone service was to have their character on era and TBC
How often do you play? How do you make enough gold?
back in TBC i played about couple hours each day outside raids i did professions plus the payouts from the raids helped
This right here. If it stays in TBC then I’ll join for sure. If it’s only TBC for a year and then on to Wrath, then there’s not really any reason to play.
I will be playing on Classic PvE Server Alliance. Looking for a guild that is wanting to raid any day and any time works for me. Only thing i dont know is Gnome or Human Warlock
1-How long will TBC servers stay at TBC? So far it’s been 4+ years for the Classic Era servers staying at that point and it’s been great. Will TBC stay at TBC 4+ years as well?
It’s really up to you however keep in mind Human’s don’t swim through puddles. Also judging by your avatar you appreciate transmogs, a Classic Gnome suffers with Character Selection Screen squidge-lines that represent their hard earned gear.
