WoW can't be all-inclusive

It doesn’t work as well as people think it does. The setting itself can’t account for Lag.

Honestly I can’t wait for brain-wave enabled VR gaming tech. Not in this lifetime though…

This is actually a very great idea. I know certain mounts affect me more than others. Smoother mounts with less flapping or strafing animations are better.

Let’s talk about Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver lmao. Easiest puzzles in the world when you’re an adult, but as an 8 year old, I was like wtf is going on here

I can’t use any of the MoP dragon mounts or the gathering mount. They are just too all over the place.

Oh for sure and hopefully it is easier to unlock the other mounts. I think they are unlocked via questing.

Yeah, the herbalism shredder mount is the worst.

I unfortunately don’t have a specific solution - nor am I one of the people who has real issues with Dragonriding - but I do want to voice my support for figuring out some accessibility options that could make it easier for everyone to play. I know that Guild Wars 2’s griffon (which is…let’s say very similar to Dragonriding) had similar complaints. I can’t remember what solution they came to, or if they ever did - in Guild Wars 2 those mounts are completely optional, as opposed to being a basic requirement for travel in Dragonflight.

The airborne flip thing it does is infuriating and it swaying side to side I just hate it.

Then skip it. FFS, we should all have our fun ruined because you can’t play a part of the game? How selfish do you have to be? I used to play Halo and Doom yeeeaaars ago and the motion sickness is real at first, but you get used to it (it stops making you sick after a few hours/days of playing). Skip this part of the game. and stop spam posting on these forums. All I see is you spamming this because you don’t like it, so you want to take your ball and go home.

I get travel sickness, can’t go out on small boats, or be a passenger in a vehicle if i’m not in the front seat (and even then it’s a bit ropey). But otherwise I don’t have any issues.
The ‘motion sickness’ settings in WoW will help to reduce any sickness you feel, or you can just glide to the ground instead of slamming in to it, because it’s the camera pov changes from speed changes that cause the sickness, and that’s most noticeable when landing at speed.

Who is asking for everyone’s fun to be ruined? Most of the time people who don’t need them don’t even know about/notice accessibility options.

The problem, as is the problem with most systems implemented by Blizzard, is that they didn’t put any meaningful customization in place for accessibility. Dragon riding is great, but their accessibility measures are half-baked. The only accessibility option they have is the ability to tag along with someone, but that is contingent on you having a partner you’re playing with. Not everyone does.

They should have put more resources into developing a more extensive, customizable accessibility system.

That’s like 2 minutes into using it, I have to log off. I’m done.

It’s more wild that they didn’t even read the OP and just assumed things and started their self-victimization lmao. Speaks to their entire train of thought really.

Yeah plus you have to cast to mount the thing.

I’ll just go on my little birdy druid and be happy to pick old stuff lol

I wouldn’t use the word challenging, but it does require some modicum of thought as opposed to auto running. That’s a pretty big gap from the standard gameplay loop incorporated into WoW questing.

You can’t skip it, farming nodes, rares, and the entire map system is based on DF.

Not spamming at all, If you actually read my posts you would have seen multiple times where I said I like DF and I think it’s implemented well. I just can’t enjoy it because I get sick. It seems to be the general consensus that lots of people are getting sick from it. Sorry this offends you.
