Tibet is China. Sorry but that’s a simple fact, and a historical one as well. Tibet first became a part of China during the Yuan Dynasty back in 1240 AD (although at that time the Mongols had conquered all of China, although Kublai Khan saw himself as the ruler of both China and Mongolia). Mongol rule would continue until 1346 when the Ming Dynasty overthrew the Yuan Dynasty.
There were some attempts at independence in the centuries that followed, but ultimately Tibet was considered a part of China again during the reign of the Qing Dynasty in 1720. After the Qing Dynasty collapsed and was replaced by the Republic of China, it was still considered a part of China (although not all of it, part of Tibet was controlled by British-India and the leader of China during the 1940s, Chiang Kai-Shek noted in his diaries that the regions controlled by British-India would be demanded as restitutions following the end of World War 2.
Then in the 1950s the People’s Republic of China under Mao annexed Tibet from the Republic of China. They demanded that Tibet recognize the sovereignty of the People’s Republic of China and in turn gave Tibet the ability to govern itself as an autonomous region, which remained in place until the failed Tibetan Revolution of 1959 which led to the creation of a ‘government in exile’ for the former leaders of the autonomous Tibetan region. After that happened China cracked down on the region, but fast forward to the 1980s and Tibet was ushered into a period of social, economic and political liberalization. The life expectancy in Tibet has since increased from 36 years to 67 years, and the quality of life has greatly improved, with infant mortality rates decreasing and poverty ratings decreasing steadily.
Are there people who are still pushing for a ‘Free Tibet’ which hasn’t been a thing since the collapse of the Tibetan Empire? Sure. And the anti-China crowds have tried to push for that to be a reality with no success. Why? Because Tibet has been a part of China for hundreds of years, and that’s not likely to change in the future, ever.
Trying to claim that Tibet isn’t a part of China because it was independent centuries ago is like trying to claim California and Texas aren’t a part of the United States because centuries ago they were controlled by Mexico.
The world doesn’t work that way. It never has, and it never will.
That’s another issue I’m having. Due to mob scaling, seasonal gear resets, stat squishes, and level squishes, our characters aren’t getting stronger. I feel like a hamster on a treadmill for no reason at all.
Hopefully soon. I love games that have some currency you can buy for real money and spend it in shops, or just spend real money in shops. Cosmetics and stuff
It is likely the other way around, but the results are the same. Microsoft would likely have purchased Blizz at it’s current standings or as it would be upon official acquisition time. Blizzard adding or extending contracts would change the “product” that Microsoft has purchased.
Your “googling” has no facts. Tibetans are not chinese. Most of their culture comes from Mongolia more than any other country or culture. More than that they are TIBETANS. Chinese trolls need to be silent. Tibetans and sherpas even have different genes than regular chinese people do. Again do some actual research before u spout this nonsense. By your definition Britain has a claim to Usa then? Just yikes. The concept of the Dalai Lama himself is from cultures in Mongolia. This goes back before ANY 1200 AD or so. It goes back 40,000 years ago. Sit down troll.
I mean regardless of whether Tibet legally “belongs” to China for now, anyone with half a brain lobe should understand that the CCP shouldn’t have control over that place. At this point, you should really be able to tell that Carhagen is one of those 50 Cent Party people. Should probably just move on too, since that subhuman tumor is clearly saying what it’s saying for ulterior motives.
Edit: In case people are too lazy to google, “50 Cent Party” is just people paid off by the CCP to spread their propaganda online while pretending to be normal people. They get the name bcuz the rumor is that they get half a RMB for each post.
Any student of Chinese history will tell you that Tibet is a part of China. This is not contestable. The fact that you are trying to pretend it is, when the only time Tibet has been independent is when the Tibetan Empire existed, is honestly both sad and stupid.
