I would give it a go just to see if I would still enjoy it. One of the best things about the game for me are the ground mounts and flying mounts. Can we run super fast or fly on our own? If so I’d probably still play, but if everything became super slow and I’d have to fight my way to every single thing I’d want to do, I’d probably slow down or stop playing.
I know if we went from now to no mounts out of nowhere, I’d unsub for the first time since Cata just because I’d be so annoyed.
