Oh? So just like real life, where there are “infinite” afterlifes >.< According to the theory of multiverse.
Honestly it’s not even structured enough to be compared to that. It’s that bad and even worse after Shadowlands they pretty much abandoned most of the lore already.
Oh, that’s right the LORE, too many people set them self’s up for disappointment I forgot.
At this point its more like indifference though I will say this. The recent cinematic looks like they’re at least learning to do more.
It don’t matter what the devs do, people will still trash talk it, say it is the worst thing ever, claim the devs don’t care and they are ruining the game.
So i feel like people are taking this question as to remove one of them. By retcon, isnt the question to rewrite or change? Obviously you cant take out any expansion because they all have events in their stories that have ripples in later expansions. But there are so many little things that changed a little could make Shadowlands fine. The only thing in WoD was a dev talking about how the Legion existed across all timelines, which is really dumb. And i dont think thats even canon anymore
How is that dumb? It makes plenty of sense. For something to exist in every time and no timeline at all, all at once. That is how parallel worlds and timelines work.
No the dev was saying there was one Burning Legion, and it existed across all timelines all at once. It doesnt make any sense that Archimonde was on Azeroth i. warcraft 3 only in our timeline. Every timeline should have its own people. So did no other universe have Archimonde because he was busy in ours, and then got killed?
One Burning Legion, with Infinite versions of each of their leaders. If Zovaal was the “Real” Head of the burning legion, it would make plenty of sense.
Yes that would make sense. But what the dev was implying was that there was only one Legion across all timelines. I cant find where the dev said it, but its easy to find conversations about people still devating it
Meh i don’t give any weight to what a dev for a game says anymore. They make claims and double back on them. Or they claim they misspoke, or people misunderstood what they meant. They would all make great politicians, they will shake your hand with one hand and stab you in the back with the other.
Uhhhh…
You’re a fun guy lol… Life of the party I’m sure.
There’s a few expansions that were universally liked. Admittedly legion was a while ago but everyone but pvpers loved that expansion. Yes there will always be complaints from some but you complaining about complainers isn’t any better
Where did you dig that corpse up? You know how long that saying has been being used? Try to come up with some new content.
Nah i just think if people want to cry day in and day about every little thing in the game for years on end, maybe they should quit instead of whining for years about things they don’t like.
So, you are complaining about me complaining about others complaining? But that is fine?
Most people in here were voicing opinions with context, not actually complaining the op is literally doing the opposite of complaint
You just came in here with no opinion just flaming everyone and everything as I said, fun guy.
Well I was having a decent time reading people’s opinions and voicing my own until you came in being super fun and all. Most of us actually contributed some actual thoughts on the two expansions.
Anyways I’m here to chat some wow stuff. Not argue with people angry at life. I hope your day gets better from here on out
Sorry when did i flame “everyone” voicing opinions and claiming things should be “retcon” because “I don’t like them/they don’t fit in “MY” game” Bla bla Bla are two different things.
Claiming they should just retcon the entire game is the same as claiming they should just do one or two expansions, it is still an opinion, you can pick whatever opinion you want to side with but you can’t say others can’t voice theirs too.
Glad i could help :D.
You mean that “most of you” that you agreed with.
You would know all about being angry at life, with only cherry picking comments that share the same thought as you everyone else is just “life of the party” because they don’t share your thoughts.
You are a great example of what people think of moonguard and how it gets its name.
I just want it to come out that the Shadowlands we saw was the Titans attempt of organising souls and that the real Shadowlands from the original lore still exists somewhere else, outside their control. Basically, don’t retcon it, just renege the parts that essentially overhauled existing lore.
A lot of the impact of SL is important, but the amount of lore it changed for literally no reason other than to elevate a poorly written villain is kind of annoying …
God, Shadowlands. It should become a fever dream.
