I would quit wow. I’ve had my account for over half my life. If I lost everything for whatever reason, got banned, hacked, or blizz reset everything to vanilla, I’d be gone. Call it sunk cost or force of habit if you want, but at least I’d be free from the game. Classic exists for people who want to play the game how it was back then. I played it how it was back then originally, and there’s a reason why I stick with retail. They are essentially different games. I enjoy the QoL, race/class combos, cross faction/server play, graphics, end game, and the years of collections I have in retail. No amount of nostalgia can grip me back into classic the way retail has its grip on me.

I have tried playing Classic.
I don’t play Classic any more, so if. Blizzard did this, they’d be saving me 15 bucks a month.
