I would not.
I played classic and only classic since it released. Hopped on and saved my name and everything when the time came. I put in the time farming, leveling, raiding. I did the min/max. I got my world buffs before raid. I can say with the utmost certainty that I don’t want to ever do it again. Sure it was fun after not having done it for over a decade, but there’s no need to go back and do it again.
The people saying “it’ll be better with fresh servers.” It wont. You’ll have the bots back, and blizzard wont do anything about it. You’ll have the black lotus issues. There will be far too few herbs and far too many people per server resulting in shortages and an inflated economy. No thanks.
I decided to check out Shadowlands and it was an eye opener of sorts. In classic we had a 40 man raid team that would occasionally wipe on silly mechanics like Vael, Ouru, Skeram. Some of the easiest mechanics there are. Now I pop into Shadowlands raiding to see how it is and ask myself, “Could I really see my team handling a fight like Danathrius?” No flipping way.
