8 years later⌠still an incomplete class with 2 specs. Evoker got their 3rd spec in less than a year after release. Come onâŚ

Tyrande isnât a DH but she does this a couple times in the Shadowlands cinematics and it is in fact extremely cool

Yea i get it DH isnt a super popular class but come on man
I would love a ranged DH spec. Seems like throwing the glaive would be a natural one.

This is why it is not going to happen. You play DH for melee, you play hunter for ranged.
Just look at what happened to survival hunter. Yes it would be fun at first but in the end it becomes a numbers game. People play mover havoc build even though everyone hates it just for that slight 2% increase in dps.
AND if ranged becomes meta but you want to play melee or visa-versa you are screwed.
Think we might get one when Illidan returnsâŚ.

I think a medium/long range caster could work with the class fantasy.
Quick/short range fel bolts
Long range and long cast, ânukeâ spells like the one Illidan used against Kruul in the novel.
Perhaps some thatâs strength varies with how long you charge them, like the evoker.
What I want more than anything is a reskinned version of dracthyrâs âsoarâ.
Turn into havoc meta while you fly around
