I like holy AND disc too, so I get 3 specs that I enjoy, but none are as fun as hpal on their own.
I think that person who said to main the priest then play pally when I get bored was onto something.

Both.
Because gameplay is fun and races are fine, but vulperans are cute and fun as well. So Iâd just go with both, and not care about my race that much.
Also if you donât care for the race options, have fun with the races instead. Be a Holy Cow, or a Pretentious Pompous Paladin Elf, or shout âGet stoned!â when you hit things with a hammer (and make them an alchemist as well for extra thematic flare). All races become a lot more fun once one makes the decision âI am going to have fun and enjoy it no matter what I doâ so⌠go for it!
Be a tall troll whose loa is a bowl of spaghetti but since it isnât culturally appropriate, you pick a Loa for gameplay reasons, but secretly⌠you worship spaghetti!
I will always play the class I enjoy over a race , if you are playing something you donât enjoy simply because of appearance thereâs a problem. Itâs a game play what you enjoy first and foremost!!!
Main one and main alt the other. Itâs what a lot of people are doing nowadays.
Well I mean, making a character you think looks cool or cute or pretty or whatever is also a part of the enjoyment, right? And I like flashy, pretty spell effects and hearing my characterâs voice, the themes classes have, my characterâs animations, and all that.
Female earthen (and dwarves, but I play Horde now) have long, flippy floppy braids that I think are cute, but they have ugly faces and stiff running animations, plus they donât look good in poofy armor or have good voices.
Female vulpera, while they have a sorta goofy running animation and their arms are too long, have an adorable voice, are overall very cute, and have pretty eyes. Their animations overall are way newer and better than dwarves.
Plus both classes are pretty close in terms of fun. Iâd say holy priest is a 7/10, disc is a 6/10, shadow is also a 6/10, then holy pally is a 8.5-9/10.
If I look at games like FFXIV, which have far newer animations, my favorite classes are things like Red Mage and Gunbreaker because theyâre over the top flippy fancy with unnecessary movement and animations that look kinda goofy. I like the personality the classes have. I just lucked out and enjoy the gameplay of the classes too.
Iâd go with the class you enjoy 3 specs on rather than the one you only seem to enjoy 1 spec on.
Fair enough , just saying though if the gameplay is close in terms of fun for you just play the one you enjoy overall and not just gameplay then.
I donât have to choose, elves can be every class.
For a long time i played an Orc BM Hunter when WoW actually had faction wars, but it doesnât really matter now that WoW is Friendlycraft. Which is sad .
My main is a Gnome Fire Mage . I am working on my Panda Element Shaman and probably a Worgen Worlock.
I have always been a range dps player. I really donât care for melee classes.
I personally like limited race choices but Iâm always going to choose warlock most times⌠the only class I donât like the race options, is evokerâŚ
I donât like race restrictions when theyâre done for stupid reasons.
A paladin is, quite literally, a knight that learned to use light magic, or a priest who was taught to fight. Every race can play warrior, every race can play priest. No reason for every race to not have paladin.
Problem is we donât get pally for every race because of âmuh chargerâ when the charger is, quite literally, the already existing racial mount, just a recolor. We also have the class hall charger that is a generic mount for every race.
So like, a demon hunter? Sure it makes sense itâs only elves. But a pally? No reason we canât teach new races to be paladins. Especially when we have death knights for brand new allied races that, in lore, have only been working with us for about 3 years.
My view on pally, is if they can be a priest and a warrior, paladin should be an option⌠but I also donât feel a lot of those races should get priest either⌠my issue is classes like void elf priest being paladins or even priests, how can a void infused being still be void infused and use the light⌠same with undead priests⌠but they give their reasoning and I donât have to ever like it.
Iâm sure eventually the original core classes will be available to all races. Creating racial paladin mounts, druid forms, and shaman totems for every race is taking forever.
Beyond that, Iâm not sure if all races will ever get DK (in the case of races added post Shadowlands) and DH. I lean towards no. Evoker certainly will never expand beyond dracthyr. Unless they figure out some way to explain why a gnome is flapping his arms and using Breath of Eons lol.
Why are you limited to Horde? Very few things are faction bound these days.
The simple workaround is to make visages available to ALL races and not just Human/Belf. So technically youâre still a Dracthyr, just with a Gnome visage.
That should have been a thing from the start but implementing that would take more time than Blizzard is willing to put in. If we havenât received druid, shaman, and paladin for all races yet, something like that would take them 10 years at least lol.
An intern could do 6-7 paladin chargers in one day. The model quite literally already exists, theyâre just slapping paladin colors on the ALREADY EXISTING racial mount. Give it a week or two for quality checks and touch ups, youâre done.
Also something an intern could do in a week or two. Theyâd have to create new models, but they donât move and are tiny, so they donât have to be extreme high definition 30,000 polygons per square inch fancy.
Activision just plain doesnât want to do it, and I have no idea why.
Easy. Mages cast Breath of Fire by conjuring a magic, ephemeral dragon head that breathes fire. Do that for non-dracthyr evokers, but add in wings for flying around, a tail for tail whip, and etc. All an evoker is, is a sorcerer that uses dragon magic. Iâm pretty sure the new aspects could infuse mortals with dragon magic and make them into the same thing as an evoker.
Because I only like vulpera, gnomes and pandaren. And I like vulpera more than gnomes since gnomes have 0.1db voices that I canât hear at all, and donât look good in armor in any way at all.
I could live with that, use a gnome or vulpera visage and just be fine. Iâd be not horrendous looking 90% of the time, only in combat.
If it was that easy, not sure why they havenât done it yet. It is something that is requested near daily on the forums and probably would be a W from Blizzard for the vast majority of players.
I have the best of it. There are two classes I enjoy. Rogue, just for grins and giggles and Priest. Both of which my favorite race can be Void Elf.
Itâs not an âif,â it IS that easy.
Problem is modern gaming companies are run by greedy slimeballs who should never be allowed near the gaming industry, so youâd have to run 48 different meetings about how profitable doing something would be, then if it was deemed profitable youâd have 14 more meetings on if the shade of yellow is the right shade of yellow, then 25 more meetings on what to call the mount, then 37 more meetings on how much glow it should have, and etc.
⌠even though I could pay some kid on Fiverr 50 bucks and theyâd have it done in a couple days with comparable or better quality than Activision could ever do.
I wish it was that easy for me. My favorite class is holy pally, but I hate every race available to it.
i pray they unlock more classes soon
