Say you could run unlimited mythic+ dungeons with followers but you got no reward, you were able to just practice your runs. Would you do it?
Personally no cuz I run with a premade mostly
But I could see it being beneficial for people nervous about joining groups and wanting some practice before hand
Since I do them now for practice? 1000%
I could watch videos until I was blue in the face, NOTHING helps as much as simply running the dungeon.
So I watch a Quazii video and go through it at the same time on the follower dungeon. I can then stop/start the vid to mark the name plates and add sound to all the mobs as I WANT THEM (no offense, but I want to make MY OWN settings, not just dl someone else’s).
It makes a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference!
Follower dungeons are easily one of the biggest and best things added to the game. It needs to be expanded! And it’s been something I’ve been saying for at least a decade: give me some way to practice so I’m not WASTING THE TIME OF FOUR OR MORE OTHER PEOPLE! I don’t mind endlessly wiping if it’s just on ME. But I shouldn’t have to hold other people back just so I can learn how to play a GAME.
Nope. Next question.
No, I play wow to play with other people not solo
You know how people who play team sports will practice their individual skills without the team? Same thing.
No because the followers do crap dps.
No because there is exactly 0% chance the AI will play like human players will. What WOULD be nice if you had a training ground where a full group could practice a key in a mode that offers no completion bonus but otherwise is the full/complete dungeon. This would be an ideal safe way to practice and get practical intel on your comp what your group could handle.
It would also be a half decent way to vet a pug on keys where it matters. You don’t have to do the full dungeon, but going into the practice mode and seeing how they handle the first pull is a decent indicator of how the run will go.
They can be tuned.
Yes. I’ve always wanted to tank mythics, but have been afraid of being the weight that drags the team down.
NO, what’s the point of doing anything in this game if it doesn’t come with a reward.
Yeah I would do them especially if we could skip to specific bosses to practice those over and over
