Would you be okay with a January 2021 release?

Forget about 2020, let the year end and start fresh with the Scourge Event on January 5, Shadowlands launch on January 18, and Castle Nathria becomes available on February 1.

Yes but only if they scale the scourge event back up.

Let chaos rule supreme for a few months.

It really should ramp up into absolute chaos

Sure, but I’d likely let my sub drop off for the rest of the year in the meantime.

Sure, but they’d probably get in trouble for it. Not everyone would be happy with it especially after they promised 2020.

only thing blizzard will do in spare months is create more systems to compensate for old systems. Which will create more systematic problems

I would have been fine with it coming out in January. But I think being in pre-patch limbo for 3 months would be bad, so no I wouldn’t support it anymore. Unless they move back pre-patch to December.

I’d be okay with a January release.

It would be great if they did something like double essences in the meantime; just to mess around with corruption to hold us over.

I’m fine with it taking as long as it needs.

It all depends on how quickly they repair all the bugs and possible failures in beta. It still needs alot of help

They said 10/26, then the delay happened… while many of us were fine with it, Activision’s investors were most likely not… now that they’ve said later in 2020, watch their stocks tank if they push it back to 2021… you heard it here first…

I’m with this guy, if they delay the expansion by enough give us a prepatch event worthy of going into the underworld.

I don’t get why some say the zombie event will screw with leveling… don’t they know dungeon finder exists?

Those are going away in a matter of days…

I’m all for them getting the problems worked out and for it to be the best expansion launch they’ve had in some time… my point is merely stating the facts that there will inevitably most likely be fiscal consequences Activision - and thus consequences for Blizzard - if they push it back any further to 2021…

You’re totally right, of course.

But, if things were looking like a January release, wouldn’t it be fun?

I agree. I wouldn’t be surprised if shareholders call for changes in senior management in the event of the expansion being pushed beyond 2020.

Yes that would be great cus I have family coming down for 2-3 weeks in December for Christmas and I won’t be able to play January would be great for me lol

That also trickles down… I refuse to believe that all the employees leaving Blizzard were only because of layoffs and other circumstances surrounding the pandemic…

To get a better developed game? Yes. Just to drag out time and end up with a game that still is a dumpster fire? No.

lowbies get spat out of the new starter area into sw/org… and if the entry spawns were camped, they’d hit a road-block if they didn’t take advantage of the “how to use your keyboard/mouse” tutorial.

I mean we got cyberpunk coming soon. So ya they can take sweet time.
