The major gripe I had with legion was at games end when we had to expel the power of our legendary weapons into and I quote “WHAT SWORD” that part did suck, I mean for lord’s sake I had the Scythe of Elune.
That was the last time that pvp was entirely based on pvp gear. Pvp gear had such a large advantage in all pvp that someone that was max raid gear would still lose to someone that was full honor geared. I remember being an absolute noob and still managing to crush people in pvp just because of the gear scaling.
I do remember ashran being the first very laggy experience I had back then. So I hope it would be better a second time.
On the flip side raid gear was much better for pve situations so it all evened out.
It did feel terrible, I still use legion artifact appearances in retail, because of how much meaning was put behind them.
that’s not entirely true. There was a ton of cool artifact skins that were tied to certain achievements. Some were actually quite difficult and/or time consuming and getting the final points in the artifact did take some time. Judging by how fast we’re going through expansions I can see legion being one of the better classic experiences.
Skins. Not anything that made for any kind of dynamic gameplay choices.
Yes, some of them were a great challenge. Like the mage tower appearances, had pvp, pve, and even exploration achievements that were very time consuming tied to them. I remember taking a look at the shiny purple cat form and nearly crying at the effort it would take to get it.
There were also the hidden appearances that only showed up once you met the qualifications to get them.
Transmog is the true endgame
I would. Why not?
I’ll probably be the black sheep on this but my favorite times of playing WoW was between Cataclysm–Battle For Azeroth. I’m looking forward to WoD and Legion of course. The expansions up ahead just had way better story and cinematics compared to Shadowlands and moving forward to TWW.
Just like Warframe, fasionframe
