Would u rather see tbc or wotlk classic?

this is literally not true. wow is not the cash cow it was decade ago. and the sooner people realize that the sooner more realistic expectation will be.

there is literally as much a chance for classic plus sense deposite everyone saying classic has made them tons of money, it hasn’t and it wont unless they add more micro transactions.

I’d rather see WOTLK classic and play that expansion forever

There’s absolutely no chance for classic plus because it would require the creation of new content rather than recycling classic content. The big boon of classic’s success for Blizzard is that all the content already exists.

because it was the easiest thing a small dev team could fop re release old content its really hard to do that…lol

let see hire more people for a classic + or just re launch more old content and make millions?

which one do you think blizzard will do?

TBC…without a doubt!!

i just find it funny people want classic wow redone. whats next if they make tbc and wotlk? more complaints about petty things. if u cant enjoy the game just unsub. its that easy. ppl like me actually enjoy classic the way it is.

unless you think making less money then your newer IPs is a “boon” then there is no boon.

there is world where neither happen aswell. which is realistically what is going to happen

If I could get TBC w/ Ulduar I might very well have my perfect slice of heaven.

God I miss my Iron bound Proto.

blizzard has not made as a tons of money… though. from classic. they do make tons off thier other IPs though.

The sad part is ActiBlizzards revenues breakdowns show that MTX is the fastest growing avenue for money, not subscriptions or new IPs.

It’s a ratio of investment/profit. Very simply put, thing that already exists which creates income is more profitable than creating new thing which also creates income. We call this a profit margin. Classic has a very large profit margin because it requires much, MUCH less investment than creating new content.

and mounts have an even bigger profit margin same with most micro transactions.

The only downside to this is growth, which is what investors love 10fold in compared to consistency.

Yup, again those MTX’s are the money makers for Blizzard.

The problem lies in the fact that a big big drawing point of Classic is no MTX. If we were to ever see a Classic+ (which could very well happen because of Growth potential) it will be littered with MTX, since that’s where the most opportunity for growth is in a video game.

But that also being said, a more popular/safe approach would be to introduce the other Legacy servers for TBC and WotLK eventually.

It’ll be interesting to see where Blizzard takes their flagship in the end, can’t grow off Legacy servers, they’re more to stop the bleeding out.

Both, but I understand BC must come first, once WOTLK comes out though ill be happy forever.

micro transactions dont bother me. they could even ad lvl boost aslong as the game is popular enough where I can still 5 man classic style 5 mans. and I mean real vanilla like CC being important again taking longer then 30 minutes to run a dungeon all that jazz.

TBC is better

Classic > TBC classic > WotLK classic is easily a 10 year plan on top of their ongoing development of retail. At no point does creating classic+ side by side with new retail content makes more financial sense.
