Just run a BFD every 3 days until 35. Then do SM. I have 5 40s and only one leveled in the open world. And I completely avoided STV on that character.

I don’t camp players, but I’ve played this game for nearly 20 years. Maybe you’re new and don’t get it, but you do not have the mindset necessary to play on a PvP server. It’s mostly an alliance thing, but I’ve seen Horde crybabies too. I’ve already seen the best and worst this game has to offer, and you cannot scare me with vague notions of queue timers.
I played on Heartseeker as Horde when classic came out. Not only were we about 2% of the population and being farmed and exterminated at a rate that would make some people in history very jealous, but we also had 40 minute BG queues. Not once did I cry on the forums about PvP. Grow a pair, stop wasting your money on 6 accounts or whatever you’re doing, and shut your damn mouth.
I think at this point what we may be seeing is a cartel hit. I’m not kidding. We had stuff like this going on my Vanilla server with the Devilsaur Mafia.
Why even would they be farming you? They’re not getting any HKs out of it. I think you know exactly why you’re being farmed at this point, I think you’re asking for official “protection,” and I’d like to know the full story, please. The actual one. How much gold you’re talking about having to move, who’s farming you and if you and they had been contact beforehand.
What you’re doing isn’t against ToS, I don’t think, and Ally transportation sucks - or so I’ve heard, I’d rather eat a tack. And I don’t think you’re selling, because if you were, you’d’ve done so. The reason you’re not ditching these toons is you have a bunch of gold you have to move and there’s no way to do that by yourself.
I mean, when you listen to the story and something sounds off, like it doesn’t add up? Something where someone who would pay ninety bucks a month and write angry forum posts about it?
I mean, would you ever pay to transfer a level 34 anything? That’s not a twink-bracket level number, it can’t be gear, the only rep that’s grindy is WSG and AB at this point, WSG is stupid fast now with the daily, and if you were mad about AB you’d do Bloodmoon at 40.

A. Stay where you are and be unhappy
B. Start from scratch and spend hours getting back to where you were
C. Quit the game
Personally, I’d start checking out other hobbies. Plan C.

My original post was really about wanting to be able to level alts doing the old quests. That’s it. I have just “quit” on the alts. Only keeping multiple accounts for portals to convenient places. Do you people not understand the math here: You have to have 4 accounts and can legitimately portal your accounts around, legitimately. Sure is nice to insta port free to Azshara & Gad. Am I leveling alts? No gave up on that. I keep the accounts only for the professions (which are now outdated) and the portals and mail/bank storage.
Why should I quit when I could level to 50 in like less than 10 hours and had rank 7 PVP banked? I’ll just play the one character. I’m perfectly happy on that account because guess what? I don’t solo quest on it. I was really looking forward to enjoying some of the old quests without corpse running every 5 minutes after you hit a contested zone. You’re not reading my posts: I GAVE UP. Not worth it. I’m happy on my one account with a lvl 50.
But there are players that are sick of being on a PVP server. Lots. But I’m beyond caring. I don’t like the game enough to reroll. I’m fine not playing on alts or doing another quest. One character is enough. I mean really the time isn’t even that consuming. 8 hours for lvl 50. A couple days at STV and you’re rank 7 (I have 170K honor rn ready on toon for Tuesday reset).
But yeah I don’t consider it PVP when a lvl 40 runs by and hit’s a level 32, that is already attacking 2 or 3 npc’s. I would just like to see negative rank put if you attack players that are white to you and yield no exp or honor. It was really funny in Gad to see players dying to guards in order to one shot a lvl 1 clicker. Level 40 and couldn’t even get off enough dps to kill a lvl 30. KEK. But I found a place that is “safe” and the level one’s can flourish there.

Server release a lot of our guild/ friends couldn’t get on the same servers because of the balance locks. Now that the dust has settled, please let us transfer from pvp to pve. The friend group I did have on my server quit because of griefing and the PVE friends are thriving. Let us join our friends on pve servers.

I really can’t blame the sentiment.
I started on a PvP server because my guild from Era wanted to roll on one. I played until lvl 25, did BFD p1. P2 came out, ganked constantly while trying to quest. I said, “Sorry guys, enjoy”, rerolled on a PvE server and never looked back.

Server transfers from PVP to PVE should be permitted in SoD but there’s no going back.

Yes, we absolutely beat them up. Not terribly, but understand using kiddy gloves will do the trainee a disservice. You are setting them up for failure.
Pain is an excellent teacher, not excessive but pain in general. If your coach tells you to keep your hands up, he can say that until he is blue in the face, but getting clocked with a head kick or hook only needs to happen once and the hands typically stay up after that.
As far as wow world pvp? Nothing to do with real life examples. Wow pvp is not fair, never was, that was not even the intention. From my experience some players have this weird code of conduct or honor i guess they carry around and project these self imposed idles to the game.
Its distasteful to gank a lowbie. Is it? My question is who cares? If they are vulnerable and i can reach them and ruin their day, why not? Thing is, if players were not so sensitive and had the maturity and self confidence to just shrug off a gank and move on, ganking might not be as fun.
But like many of these savages who love pvp servers, the enjoyment and thrill is knowing that their is a good chance that dude you just blessed with a rez run is seething!!!
Post crying and whining about pvp on pvp servers is like scrolling through an adult website filled with videos of your favorite fetish.
The tears fuel these monsters. They have no souls. They legitimately do not care and i have always been a big fan of the depravity and violence.
I think it is reasonable to let people off pvp servers for free. When I started playing SoD on a pvp server, I had the expectation that PvP would actually exist rather than this oneshot unbalanced unregulated garbage that we got.

No since posting I’ve dropped 2. Consolidating all my gold. In a few weeks, I won’t have any subs. I will check back for Phase 4. Nothing really to do. I may stack up some STV coins. Yeah I enjoyed playing 2 or 3 accounts at the same time. Before the ban on the soft ware, I enjoyed playing 5. But I’m not fast enough to manually play more than 2 or 3. And I certainly don’t like SOD enough to level on a PVE server. One thing I’m not doing, is anything in open world. So pretty much done with SOD until Phase 4. I don’t like the game enough to try and level my alts now.

C) This is why DF PvP is dead

Well, a classic dev tweeted out a question on what we thought about escaping PVP servers if given the opportunity. So hopefully they give that option. I prefer PVP servers for era. But it’s not conducive to SoD content.

What would gold have to do with it? I do have a lvl 25 lock and a lvl 34 lock. Yes, I sometimes portal for gold. Now to have locks in 2 places, they would need to be on 2 accounts. And it would take 2 more accounts for clickers. And the locks can port each other out to replenish shards (haven’t gotten the closet or duel books from SM) I made gold in P1 from max alch and max mining and herbal, but haven’t made it to 40 so no gold really incoming except for portals. I usually make 100 gold in 2 hours or so. I did drop my lvl 35 druid which I really liked to fish on at Moon Glade. But now, Horde are safe spotting on roof there. Of course I can stealth away but idk, staying at lvl 35 isn’t that fun. Basically, I’ve given up on questing. I don’t see where having 6 accounts would bring in that much gold past P1 UNLESS you got players to 40. I made quite a bit leveling to 50 for incursions and gold isn’t really the focus of having 6 accounts. I really liked to 3 box. Manually. It was fun. And I liked doing the quests. End of “story”. Like I’ve told you, dropped 2 accounts. Will have to decide if I keep 4 or maybe will keep just 1. Portal gold is still good BUT lots of players scamming warlocks now.
i fully rerolled to a pve server because of incursions id love to pay for my 40s to be moved instead of releveling it all
