I’m having fun playing SoD. I don’t think that barber shops would be a good addition to the old world, but I don’t think it would completely turn me off from playing either.
I was actually surprised to learn how much account-wide mounts, achievements, etc. impacted my desire (or lack thereof) to continue playing Wrath. It completely removed a sense of “connection” I had with a human warrior I had been playing since 2019 that had grinded rep with Darnassus and was my only character that had the Reigns of the Frostsaber mount, which obviously isn’t super unique or even that special, and you could say it’s silly to have a connection with an in-game character, or even want to have any RPG type elements in video games, but as it turns out, that seems to be a fairly large reason, among the reasons why I stopped playing Wrath Classic…
It was more an aside to point out that even though I would not have guessed it, there have been things in the game have that impacted my enjoyment of it.
You realize SoD is supposed to be classic plus and not the same vanilla classic you’ve been playing for 20 years right buddy? You can state an opinion without being condescending. Yes we all played classic you’re not special.
I literally say in the post I don’t want xmog, just the option to change hair / face lol how is that “barbie dessup” - “Classic plus some other stuff” yeah other stuff aka a barber. We’re ok with supply shipments and 25 pvp mounts but we draw the line at barber’s. Lol what, also Wotlk is considered “Classic” yeah? They introduced it in wrath, do you play wrath CLASSIC? hmmmmmmm
We don’t have magic and scissors here in world of warcraft a game of fantasy and magic! Right we can shoot fireballs and rain fire, turn into a cat, bear, and use the divination of god’s holy power, but we don’t have magic abilities to instantly lengthen hair lol your logic is so weak
…is this some new form of REAL-MEN™ virtue signaling? You’re playing a female Night Elf in an online roleplaying video game and you’re trying to act tough about how things look in game?
I had the absolute ugliest undead warrior in all of classic and i was proud of it. Why not post on your char so we can see your ugly face. Undead aren’t pretty
and yes, playing barbie dressup is a retail feature.
