Blizzard does. I can’t imagine a meeting to do any content that was introduced in a later expansion even gets on the calendar. They aren’t going to sink dev time into that.

4 months ago the server was dead by comparison, the AH and Economy was fresh and the majority of the players were fresh characters…
Between the Whales who buy boosts and gear via gold they buy from the bots; the formerly fresh server is in full on filth now.
There are 3 ways to deal with the problem… 1 you can just live with it, 2 you can roll on one of the low pop east coast servers… Or pretend fresh will be better next time.
True, tho the typical running average is 3 months and I was trying to be real fair…
Like SOM? If so how they gonna get PvP BG if not on the same battelegroup when every one and their mom is still grinding Era that they just got started on.
If Just another Era server those do exist; Community could start a " Fresh" cult thing.
Is just some questions because everyone is on Era right now, and I suspect that they will not re-roll in mass until most are burned on it; leaving a participation problem for “Fresh”
I certainly can’t speak for everyone, but I would love a fresh go at progression from vanilla to TBC. As a casual player I only got to do it on one class in one role. Would love to do it all over learning something new

Nerf AQ - Naxx loot to Item level 61-63 and let BWL - MC loot persist as is .

People on era are there because there’s not much else to do. People pretty much just afk in Org/SW on their fully decked out Naxx characters. The ones who aren’t are leveling, but they’re not sure why, just trying to pass time until we hear about SOM2 or some version of Fresh.

I get the impression that there is no real solution at the moment that would work for you even short term provided how fast servers turn to “Not-Fresh” thanks to Bots and Whales
While fresh would be nice, I don’t think its necessary. The best thing they could do is to eliminate GDKP and make it against ToS. Keep vanilla as vanilla with no GDKP, no tokens, no RMT, etc, and be very aggressive in cracking down on it.
Then no matter what phase you’re in, its still good for players journeying up because all raids are relevant in Vanilla for character progression.

I’m not the one that’s going to get globaled by my warlock anytime after late BWL, unless they manage to trinket shadowreflect. By Naxx gear, I’m basically globaling everyone I target in a bg situation. I have multiple screenshots of going 30-0, 45-2… a screenshot of critting shadowbolt alone on a player for over 5k, let alone the potential to sbolt+sbolt+sburn in a single global or Sbolt/Searing pain/Sburn in a single global and still do a multiple of their health bar instantaneously. After bwl classic pvp starts getting kind of bad, honestly.
I actually haven’t been subscribed since April? I think it was? Only recently came back to make a character on era for the pvp system revamps.
As for pservers, I had intended to play on Sanctuary because it was going to IP ban all Chinese, disallow vpns, and also ban gdkps/booosting, but the project fell through before it’s intended fall launch date.
My other prime option for vanilla era would be Turtle wow, which does non authentic class changes that I dislike
This is a classic wotlk character, not a retail one. I last played retail about a week into shadowlands, and haven’t had fun in retail since legion (before classic even existed). This isn’t even the same account as my former retail one and literally every character on it is either wrath classic or era classic (just started those). Adorable attempt to dismiss my points because you lacked the capacity to refute them.
I would happily play a fresh server long as the World is not cross linked to existing realms… Tho I would be sad if it was isolated in terms of BG’s at this point because i very much doubt there are enough players willing right at this moment that would start over.
Fresh as in all content is basically ready to go excluding AQ gates that req unlock.
Oh it would. Gold buying was absolutely rampant in SoM, and that was just the MC tier.
I don’t recall seeing many gdkps though, but mostly because the content itself was actually decently challenging.

Blizzard needs to start perma banning Entire battlenets for buying gold / any kind of RMT.

Gold DKP may still exist, but doubt it would be as vile if characters were also perma locked to the realm without the possibility to transfer.
