So ignore factors that inflated the statistic you want to be inflated?
Thats like saying the rate of gun violence that killed US citizens increased by 10,000% in the years 1861-1865 compared to year 1860, and then blame guns being more readily available. Completely ignoring the fact that the civil war occured at that time…
You can draw many false conclusions from statistics when you chery pick them to just show what you want them to show…
My number of 36.5% takes an average of multiple statistical facts to try and get a more accurate answer. Im not saying its a perfect answer, but its more accurate than the 48% or 25% because they both ignore other important factors.
yeah sure man
Actually found out recently this doesn’t work anymore, I was on my lock the other day asked a guildie if they wouldn’t mind running me threw stocks so I could complete a quest chain, when we entered I only got 20xp per kill and none of the bosses or rare mobs dropped any sort of gear from their respective loot tables. So mage boosting is dead blizz fixed that issue at least.
I actually agree with 100%. But Raid Finder wasn’t also released until 4.3 with Dragon Soul, so even the first couple of patches in Cata was good.
So remove the rewards. Originally the rewards weren’t part of RDF, they were daily quests for a regular and a heroic dungeon - like in Shattrath. And they were random. The problem was that they were random and server specific, so the daily heroic could be Halls of Stone on Whitemane but Heroic Gun’Drak on Benediction. This is only a problem with cross-realm dungeon groups. If RDF is implemented without cross-realm functionality then there’s absolutely no reason to eliminate the daily quests and tie the rewards into the dungeon finder. No reason at all. Even if it IS implemented with cross-realm functionality, the draw back of tying the reward into the RDF is arguably strong enough to warrant leaving it on the daily quest and if you never get the heroic dungeon to pop up while spamming RDF then I guess you can just try to form a group manually on your server.
This isn’t complicated.
I haven’t because he really isn’t a troll. I’m not sure exactly what his problem is, but that’s not it.
I mean, cool, except they’re basing WotLKC on 3.3 and simply reintroducing dungeons/raids in different phases. Just like they did with vanilla classic and just like they did with TBC classic.
Wanna guess what else came in 3.3?
Stop it. Death Knights weren’t playable during pre-patch, the talents and even some abilities are different in the final patch than from the original 3.0 release. We’re not getting ridiculously overpowered Paladins and DKs at launch but we are getting Dual-spec which wasn’t implemented until 3.1.
Timing in classic arbitrary and hasn’t had any correlation to the original release except by accident. Stop making that terrible argument if you want to be taken seriously.
Thats not entirely true though.
Guild banks didnt launch with tbcc and that started with patch 2.4. Want to guess which patch guild banks were added in?
Also its not starting on 3.3, but 3.4.
3.4 is what we are starting at, which never existed in wotlk.
That doesn’t make it any less of a terrible argument. I just told someone else you’re not a troll and I already regret it.
Look up one post.
Guild banks were not in tbcc launch eaither.
Rdf shouldnt be in at launch. If it gets in later i wont like it, but i also wont throw a fit over it.
RDF should be in at launch because it’s a great addition to the game that made everything better. It’s not going to be in the game on September 26th for a lot of reasons, none of which have anything to do with which phase of original Wrath it was introduced.
Dual-spec and gear manager are in game right now during “pre patch”. Timing is arbitrary and so are most of the decisions being made by this dev team.
It didnt make everything better, the fact you refuse to admit it has some downsides is proof you dont care about how it hurts the game, only that it makes it more convenient for you.
Heres one reason its bad to have it in at launch, it hurts content consumption by vastly accelerating it at launch because dungeond are heroics will be current content and rdf would make people go through it FAR faster than what origional had, damaging not only the life of wotlkc through a greatly increased content consumption rate, but also the experience of wotlk launch now being a queue based system instead of what it was back then.
You refuse to admit ANY downsides to rdf being in at launch, let alone rdf being in the game at all and how that has some negative effects on more social aspects of the game.
Untrue. I simply feel that the overall benefits outweigh the downsides.
You refuse to acknowledge anything I’ve ever typed and remember it from one post to another. You still think I want it in exactly as it was when cataclysm launched - with all rewards and convenience features in place - despite the number of compromise ideas myself and others have hashed out.
You’ve never given any consideration to anyone’s good faith arguments for months and keep going back to the same old hogwash.
Made everything better means it had no downsides. Im going by the very meaning of your words and how you used them.
Launch is in 9 days. It’s not going to be in at launch. Argue something that matters.
I make one flippant comment to highlight how unfathomably absurd you’re being and that’s the ONLY THING you respond to. Not the compromise ideas, not the phased release. No, your stupid pedantic self goes all the way back to teleportation and badges.
I was wrong.
You are a troll.
And I stand by my statement. It didn’t make anything worse. The toxicity was always there, just because you were finally exposed to it in random dungeons doesn’t make it worse.
Because the parts of rdf that make it essentially mandatory to use is what i have an issue with.
Make it a same realm auto grouping tool that gives 0 bonus rewards and i will support it. But wotlk version of rdf i do not loke and i do not want.
You get to make friends! Isn’t that one of the main reasons. You are leveling and Randomly Que with new players and sometimes you just click and become friends.
Obviously DF is needed most for lvling but also helps broaden your friend list.
Furthermore it helps people that are Antisocial or limited on time. Since they might have a hard time talking to people, finding guilds. They can just Que and play the game.
So you get more people engaged with the game that would struggle otherwise. So not having DF is really just detrimental to the game and a variety of players which could cause them to leave. They might have no one to play with.
