[WotLK] Let's talk Dungeon Finder

That’s fine. This one has a 4 hour drive. (and a 4 hour queue to get in the car)

I thought the social interaction was the “core RPG element” of the game?

If gear progression is, then RDF makes a lot of sense in that you can get groups faster, to get your gear faster. That’s pretty logical, which I know you will struggle with but I’m here to help.

Yes, “through wrath” is right. And RDF wasn’t even announced at the beginning of wrath as a feature, so that 100% had no effect on any stagnation from the launch of wrath until it was at minimum announced, if not released. Still following me?

Then, as you got wrong again, there was literally an uptick from mid/late-ish wrath to the start of cata (which you admitted to someone at some point in this thread pretty sure, you accepted their argument, but you’re back denying it again, very weird). Seriously, go look at the chart again. You are absolutely wrong.

Like you actually don’t seem like a stupid person, you are just literally literally ignoring such a basic thing to understand, it’s really weird.

I’m not threatening to quit or do lawsuits either. Also haven’t seen a single person say anything about a lawsuit related to RDF in this thread or elsewhere, so that’s just hyperbole on your part. That’s all about the queues, and that’s still ridiculous, but every time queus happed historically those threads pop up.

Anyway, I know this was a lot of logical information to handle. Let me know if you need help understanding any of it. I assume instead you’ll ignore it all and pretend you’re still right, but at least I tried.

I knew you’d misquote me!

The social interaction is the core of the MMO element of the game.

What makes you think that “fast” is what makes a game good?

Let players get the best gear in the expansion right away by paying $1 a slot. That’s fast af. Does that make the game good? lol

I’m not gonna go down this rabbit hole with you again. My point is made.

Fix it for you homie!

Wow everyone in the forum is applauding this epic roast! Good one dude!

Would love to hear your thoughts.

Why should I keep sharing my thoughts, when you’ve admitted it doesn’t matter what anyone says, you won’t change your mind? At best you’ll give a kudos for a good post, and stick to your guns.

You’re not here to have a good discussion, or listen to points of why people would like some form of RDF in the game, you’re here to tell people they’re wrong because you don’t want it in the game.

Also, thank you dude. It took me a while, I was a little scared to post it at first, but your encouragement let me know I made the right choice.

Uh ohhh. Someone’s stumped.

Prob best to stop replying to every post I make

Oh yea, I’m super stumped at a basic question.

You’re over here ignoring basic logic, and trying to insinuate I’m stupid.

Na I’ll keep replying whenever I want

It does not. Either you’re lying or you don’t know how to read a graph.

Everyone who knows how to read a graph knows you’re wrong. But I know you’ll never admit it.

They have seen this already. They literally cannot read it correctly, and denies it. It’s hilarious.

Oh they can read it. They’re just lying.

How you can read that as an increase in pop between wrath and cata is beyond me!

How can ANYONE read that and think it’s not an increase from wrath to cata.

Here’s another one with actual numbers, since you can’t seem to read the other properly.

Oh look a different graph with different dates selected for the data points!

It’s literally the same dates on both graphs…and the same data points.

I retract my previous statement that you don’t seem like a stupid person.

You claimed the graph showed a slight decline between the end of wrath and the start of cata. Now you’re trying to move the goal posts.

The graph does show a slight increase at the end of wrath. I’d guess that’s people coming back to the game for the cata prepatch but we can’t really know for sure,

Okay. They both say 11.5 on this 3rd graph you’ve provided, and I can’t find the higher resolution exact counts to prove otherwise, so I’ll just digress and say it was the first expansion release to show stagnant population since the game’s release.

I don’t really care, RDF isn’t coming anyway. GLHF
