Has everyone forgotten that you can still play WoTLk once Cataclysm have been re-released?.. Nothing cataclysm did during it’s original release change anything to Northrend… So WoTLK is still within the game/world and one doesn’t have to venture out into what Cataclysm did to the world. Just stay/remain in Northrend.
It’s probably best for the health of the game… If some folks quit over it then they never really were true WoW players…
With Era, Hardcore, SoD, Cata and Retail you don’t really have an excuse to not play one of them… Most of the ones who will quit will just crawl back into whatever private server they came from hopefully never to be seen again…

Time-capsule games don’t really have longevity within the standard WoW community. Most of us get bored with static gaming. Yes there is a niche for it… No I don’t have the numbers of how many that is… I’d bet my lunch that Blizzard does have them.
If there was a way to make money from that group of players they’d do it… They didn’t so they must have seen something we don’t know and didn’t like it…

The same three people make daily threads about the topic, and like their own posts with alts. Notice half the Likes of the OP are by characters with 0 posts?
Blizzard has decided the demand isn’t sufficient, and that’s all that matters.
I can’t wait until AI is good enough to finally allow me to play wow without Blizzard messing it up.

10+ years of popular servers prove you wrong as it has long been the most played expansion & the hardest part was choosing which of the multiple Wrath priv servers to play on…some were 1x rate PVE, some were for PVP only. Blizzard offers 3 or 4 options for Vanilla yet none for TBC or Wrath, it’s ridiculous
the mistake war mane made was allowing the purchase of Shadowmourne and BIS PVE gear for $$$

Private servers aren’t nearly as popular in the states as it is over in Europe specifically the balkan region. I don’t think many will go back to pservers

the biggest PVE private server is so full you have to wait 1-5 mins in que to log in

Funny how this was 2 months ago, and still no comment on the feedback they have received thus far.
They said no plans currently in november. But are looking at feedback. Like why is this taking so long lol. I want them to announce that they are adding a cloning service for permanent wrath classic servers right now.

yeah and i bet at least 75% of the server is european.
I’ve been giving my feedback ever since the initial announcement that there would not be WotLK Era servers.
I don’t want to play Season of ‘Discover the bugs and imbalances for us’
I don’t want to play in the ruined version of Azeroth again.
I want the option to keep playing WotLK!

The multiple versions of vanilla are barely alive, classic era litterally died until streamers reviewed it with hardcore and then a 8-12 server merge made it possible for 1 server to exist that has medium to high pop, depending on the time of day, that is barely alive.
Compared to wotlk, that audience is far bigger, so there is 0 reason to even consider wotlk era servers. Wotlk era would be a wasteland and unlike classic era, sooner or later people wont be able to fully clear HC ICC as content is significantly harder than in classic…

I’ve played on Warmane. For many many many years. I even played on it when it was known as Molten WoW.
What you see on there, 12k+ queue, is a lie.
Mane is known to inflate and double their population stats on the website.
Queues? Queues are there to encourage you to spend money every 30 days. Once you spend money on gear or gold, you get to skip queues.
Servers are never full. They have a soft cap at like 3k
Want full 277 + Shadowmounre? Easy. Swipe your card.

Think that people are elitists here? LOLLLL. Go enjoy ICC 10 NORMAL with 5.5 min GS req with active 30%.
Too lazy to earn achievements? NOT A PROBLEM. You can WHOLE CHARACER via their shop.

While I personally don’t see a point in Wrath Era, I do agree with this point that Blizzard should entertain the idea of having an expansion server on par with multiple versions of Vanilla.
