There’s one I recall that comes to mind that was particularly bad like Çryptøganstà… and then anything that’s like XX…XX, or especially any name that unimaginatively includes a lore characters name, like XXIllidanXX or XXArthasXX, or ones like that with alt-codes.
All the variants of ztrolls using Bwondsamdi. Worse than elves with Legolas.

Worst name I’ve ever seen in game… sorry but I can’t post that… I still don’t even know how they got the name past the censors…
any DH with “Illid” anywhere in the name. at least legolas isn’t a character in this game. 
I left out that part of my comment. lol But it always seems to be a dwarf or elf that I see attached to that name.

The worst name? Well… it was really racist and I reported it. For just eye rolling silly it was one of the “xxx-death-xxx” names on a DK. I remember him because he was really whiny in general during Pandaland. He would flag himself thinking he was an unstoppable DK and try to gank lower levels and end up getting camped then cry about needing help.

I thought my name was pretty cool until I got that tell late, late one night (USA time) from someone who informed me that it was Korean slang for male reproductive parts.

Some people have religious faith, and seeing the name of their god or their spiritual enemy being used so lightly is inappropriate. Take note Blizz, because I’ve seen you do it too with in-game pets.

Star Trek Online had one of the better character creator systems in MMOs, dozens of face parts for the various alien types in the Trek universe.
There were tutorials online that gave you step by step instructions on how to create [insert Trek alien race here]. So, after trying the pre-rolled Vulcan and Human characters, I got bored.
I dug up an online tutorial and went to work on creating the infamous spoon head, a Cardassian. I made the character female and (of course) I named her Kim Cardassian.
I probably got more comments on that name in Star Trek Online than any other games, from groans of pain, to shock and awe (“Best. Name. Ever!”) When people encountered the replica Cardassian on a space station, I’d get more positive comments.
I get more “Joanie Loves You” in World of Warcraft, but even that meme has died down in recent years.
But does Chachi love Joanie?
