Honestly, I’ve tried FFXIV before and despite that I like Hrothgar race, I just couldn’t stay interested in that game. It felt a bit too complex for me–maybe it’s just me. Plus, it felt a bit too overwhelming in this game that I just basically have no idea what to do despite friend helping me out. I prefer WoW because I felt it’s right for me plus good community here despite some toxicity.
Well, I mean people say that they play wow to say that FF is better literally all the time.

What will kill wow, is a lack of creativity. Eventually people will stop coming back, because they wasted their money.
Wow needs competition, to stop it from becoming stagnant.
Also never take to heart what happens on GD none of the people are real, they might as well be imaginary friends. Even shreds lol.
Maybe we should do like that one FF14 content creator and announce we quite FF14 for New World of WoW forums.

I do savage and manage to pull a gray parse on my 519 (619? I don’t remember ilvl) WHM. Best FF player ever 
I’ve only done one or two PFs for savage content and boy was that an experience. Let’s just say it’s 2 and 0 for awful players. One was a sweaty as heck Scholar who harassed me for cooldown placement (Just being nitpicky), and another was a BLM who started getting mad at a 7/8 prog static. Good times.
[Edit] More are coming to mind. I think along the lines of WoW pug vs FF PF, they’re both awful in their own ways. I kind of prefer WoW pug though. The players are sweaty as heck but at least there’s the expectation you’ll get good players.
In FF you can get an awful player and kicking them is considered toxic. The only option is to disband.

I agree. Crafting is getting a long overdue revamp so I think the game will be fine in that aspect as long as Blizzard doesn’t ignore it going forward. And I know there are players that enjoy housing, but for me it’s just something I always ignore in games. If Blizzard ever implements housing then fine, but I’m not going to waste my time demanding it be put in because the game has lasted just fine without it and it will just be another system that I ignore.

FFXIV won’t kill WoW, and I think their devs would be very unhappy if it did.
Blizzard will kill WoW, and the FFXIV Devs will probably grieve more than most of us, and certainly care more than anyone at Blizzard.
