Damn FF14 is killing it

Sucks my guild is retail just broke up as we speak.

Guild leader is going to focus on lost ark and FFXIV. Said DF wasn’t doing enough.

Yeah… Most don’t play FFXIV on steam my dude.

I’m of the opinion you can enjoy both, i know that’s insane. two pretty different mmos.

The end game just doesn’t compare to be honest and thats what does it for me.

Its not a bad game just different approach with some similarities.

If you’re looking at the 3 avenues of endgame in WoW however its still far better than what FF has to offer.

In the competitive content surely. Even in normal content if you wipe from a bad call (No thanks to server tick saying “Naw you didn’t get benediction off even though you did”) peeps just drone in silence. You might get the “It’s all good,” but you can feel the displeasure oozing.

Granted if WoW forced players to do older content like FF does oh boy. I mean it already kind of does but people just ignore that stuff or do it as a group. Ain’t no one in WoW trying to suffer through new/bad players. Which says a lot about us but let’s be real it can be 10 levels of awful sometimes.

It’s the same in FF. Jump in that leveling roulette and pretend to have a good time doing single pulls with a tank who is still somehow taking 500 million damage. Or even better, two DPS who single target everything. You can’t give them advice either else you’re toxic.

You’re just blabbing and basically talking about WoW too.

Ya they do lol, also the fact you have to make a new character to just post this gibberish while paying 15 a month is pretty funny, won’t be long before your paying Elon 8 bucks.

Also 0/10 for Sunday troll

I don’t think you are really actually worried about that.

I think you just want to stir the pot.

And you’re looking for a fight that doesn’t exists. FF isn’t the perfect utopia its players think it is. There are genuine problems but they don’t care to address them. Worse, they don’t even care to hear or accept someone else’s opinion.

Stirring the pot is fun though.

Wrong. Anime art style puts it at the bottom right next to Genshin Impact, so L.

This topic is funny because people have to defend their king (either ff or wow) lul just play whatever u want

I like to think im an mmo player who mainly plays wow, not a wow player who plays mmos

Console warring has been a norm of gaming since forever.

I don’t disagree with this statement

It’s so hilarious. Like the attachment some of you have to your game of choice is some interesting stuff.

It’s not even that. The ambience in Party Finder does sucks mos the time. People bailing and throwing others on ignore, people executing different strats than what is advertised and then complaining. Awkward silence because someone fuming and someone leaves.

Duty Finder is not any better with the casual Karens, but don’t you dare saying anything or replying to them because they will be reporting you. And any players who actually know that game, which you seem to do unlike most here: Knows that being reported is bad because SE actually terminates account unlike Blizzard who just hand out silencing periods.

This cause endgame ambience to be some of the worse out of any MMO RPG. Yeah not everyone is bad but the general experience is a lot better in WoW. Yes stuff happens but raiding is more chill in general, which is why I think it alleviates a lot of the general player base frustration in game in WoW.

FF14 is more mechanic heavy, the fights are generally longer, it is more frustrating to wipe. Not everything is harder, but learning 50 dances and more can be quite overwhelming, imo. And that’s where people need to chill instead just expecting a win. But that’s always been how FF player base was, even on FF11 it still is, except they more chill now because they average player is much older on 11.

But that doesn’t mean I think FF14 is garbage, but it’s just lackluster and not being able to enjoy the community is pretty drive killer.

Think of it as such, people have invested years of their life into an RPG that they have bonded with. Of course, there is going to be some level of attachment to it.

But people treating it like an abusive relationship or bonds of matrimony are weird.

Yeah no for sure, I’m definitely emotionally invested in games, but i dunno I feel like tribalism just isn’t healthy.

FF and WoW work together and against each other pretty much. It’s good that FF exists for wow, and vice versa. Just play what you want.

What’s ridiculous is I play wow I don’t even play FFXIV current. I am sad people are leaving wow for FFXIV.

And I get attacked for it. Lmao. People can’t even read here.
