I might have found a fix? I was having this issue on my first character. I made two alts and went straight to Khadgar, accepted and turned in the flight whistle quest. Now I see world quests on my first character.
nvm looks like blizz just fixed it

All of mine popped up once i completed Exploring all the areas.
This is so weird. I zoned back in from a dungeon and all of the sudden the WQs populated. No rhyme, no reason, they’re just there now.
I happened to be zoned into Suramar at the time, no idea if there is any correlation or not. I know others have reported that they’re ONLY seeing WQ in Suramar, so I figured I’d mention it.

ETA: I can see WQ in all of the zones, not just Suramar. I’ve also traveled outside Suramar to the other zones and they are still showing across the map in all zones. I wish I had an explanation, just reporting my findings for others to see. LOL
yep all of them are now visible to me too. just randomly after they pushed a hot fix i think. but the notes dont mention anything about it.
Yeah, Blizz seems to have ninja fixed it. I randomly noted they were up too…did my emissaries, etc.
I see this is working for a couple people. I have world quests on my 80 lemix character, though not on any of the secondary characters i’ve made.
I’m hoping it is because they’re too low level or something
Found the solution!
To unlock the world quests you have to pick up a quest called “Uniting the Isles”, in Dalaran. Simply talk to Khadgar and then you’re good to go.
Hope it helps.
Most people have said they’ve DONE this quest (Uniting the Isles) including me for all the timerunners I have, and it makes zero difference. The first toon I did it on, the world quests popped on the map, in normal mode, but then they disappeared. None of my alts on normal can see them, can’t see them on Heroic tier either on ANY TOON and on ANY DAY. This is a bug - it needs fixing.
I can’t see WQ’s in Azsuna. I can see them in all the other zones, just not Azsuna. I could see them earlier, and I even did one, but now even if I go to the locations where they are supposed to be, they don’t pop up. What gives?
Having that same issue. World quests were showing in Azuna, I did two and then the rest vanished. Relogging, leaving the zone and disabling adds did nothing.
The last time I saw the quests (as far as I can remember) was before I got to the end of the quest chain with Farondis that leads to the quest to get the tidestone inside the dungeon. I tried abandoning that quest, and still can’t see the WQ’s. I also did what someone else suggested and made an alt, went directly to Khadgar to complete Uniting the Isles, but the alt couldn’t see any WQ’s and it didn’t clear up the issue on my main Remix toon. Also cleared the cache.
Super annoying!
EDIT: I think I’ve figured out the problem!!
I’m pretty sure that the WQ’s we’re seeing in Remix are the same ones that are up in regular retail, and Blizz is just using a filter to exclude things like the profession world quests. Right now, there is a Legion Assault going on in Azsuna in regular retail, which means that all the regular WQ’s are replaced with the Assault WQ’s, except for the dungeon WQ which is still showing in the Remix version of Azsuna.
Since Remix isn’t in that “phase” where the Assaults would be taking place, there are no WQ’s showing there, and won’t be until the Assault is over, in 3 hours 36 minutes as of the time of this comment. We shall see if the WQ’s show up again when the assault is over, at around 6:30 PST.
My new alts are the only ones that can not see world quests. They cant see the dungeon world quests in Azsuna, and they cant see any of the other world quests in any other zone.
I can see any and all world quests on my 80 DK in remix just fine. You might be right about the Azsuna world quest thing, but it is certainly not the only thing preventing people from seeing world quests
Interesting!
Well. IDK then. I guess I’m interested to see what happens in a few hours with my character. ![]()
Good luck to you ![]()
My working theory for anyone making new alts, is that its somehow tied to the level you complete the unite the isle quest.
I’d say to wait till like, 30 or 40 before completing that quest just in case, because thats around when i completed it on my DK the first time through, who can see the world quests.
Pretty sure my character was between 30 and 40 when I did that quest, as it’s just hit 40 today (30 yesterday), and I’m sure I only just did that quest today.
As I expected, once the Legion Assault in Azsuna on Retail was finished, I can now see the regular WQ’s in that zone again. Huzzah!
IDK what this means for others though. I’m sure it’s still buggy for some people for other reasons!
Problem solved ?
From wowhead, on a recent hotfix
Edit - As far as my lvl 21 paladin can see, no it is not fixed.
Second Edit - Maybe it is fixed? My paladin is now level 30 and can see all of the world quests my 80 DK can. My level priest can not see any WQs, so i’m hoping assuming this has been taken care of
Legion Assult just opened up in highmountain, there are no world quests available currently. shouldn’t there be some i need to complete to do the assault?
I don’t think Legion Assaults were available until 7.2, so they are likely meant to be disabled until Legionfall
Paladin can now see a very large amount of world quests, Priest still cant see a single one.
