Some of the BC ones kind of at least tried to, like the island ones that actually helped progress taking over the zone and the ones for netherwing.
Ok, so yes like I mentioned at certain rep levels opening a new 1 time quest and/or more dailies.
The dailies themselves are always the same variant of kill/collect over and over forever.
I agree with the unlocking more stuff approach. The forums will call it “gated” behind rep grind. “Why not have all the dailies open at once? Why gate them behind rep?”
I hate both. We need rep tabards back.

I actually prefer dailys over WQs mostly because I hate the talking head nonsense and had to install an addon to remove it. I actually like gathering up all my quests and doing them. Feels like WoW of old in a way.
Same, and apparently dropping the Raid quest to kill Jaina isn’t recoverable now. I dropped it because I assumed I could just go get it back when I decided to run that raid. Nope, its gone now.
