ine never played wow till 3 mnths ago dude i had no idea
i told u to name 1 mmo and u named 0
/tencharss
you couldāve done a little research on it before leveling to 60. iām sure you were killed by horde at least once before you reached cap. youāve had plenty of time to reroll.
So you didnāt have a clue and posted a fail troll postā¦
Might be wise to acknowledge your ignorance and move on.
whats my fail post??
thanks for being so helpful to a new wow player appreciate it
A different perspective or opinion isnāt a troll postā¦what kind of SJW crapā¦
heās whining about wpvp on a pvp serverā¦ what would you call it then?
no im mad how pve servers still have pvp bgs
you can also flag yourself on a pve/rp server and do wpvp. youāre just not at the mercy of horde on a 90/10 pvp realm.
Want voluntary pvp? Go to a Pve server and type /pvp. Creating a toon on a pvp server IS volunteering to pvp.
see thats something i didnt kno ty for the info
iām serious dude you should reroll to a pve or normal rp server. itās not too late. you have the rest of classic to play at cap. if youāre not happy with your pvp server itās best to leave asap.
Youāre such an NPC. Nobody is whining about PvP on a PvP server, weāre complaining about the overwhelming presence of one faction over another. This is an issue manufactured by Blizzard over numerous years.
Guess what. Itās not called a PvE realm. Itās called a āNormalā realm. Nice try with the bait. People see right through your feigning ignorant.
Even if thereās a small chance that you had no clue. Guess what, you can still reroll on a normal realm. You can level to 60 in no time.
thatās what wpvp is. ?
dude dont be mad because im brand new and ur still not 60 not my faultā¦ i had no idea whatever u wanna believe
If your not a Roleplayer, this thread will not be of the least bit of interest to you. However, if you do continue to read onwards and find the following remotely interesting, do please give it a thumbs up.
RP-PvP Rule sets.
Last year, all of the EU RP-PvP realms merged. Now, this was welcome by many roleplayers, it meant more of us could come together, as many of our realms had been seeing drops in Roleplayer population. But it also brought what we call for short āOOCāersā , or āout of charactersā, namely players who do not roleplay.
Now, ordinarily and in a broader sense what people call OOCāers, are no problem. Argent dawn and Defias Brotherhood have long enjoyed a peaceful relationship between RP and OOCer. We leave each other alone and even help each other with no quarms or problems.
Howeverā¦ the merge of the RP-pvp realms has highlighted a much deeper problem between RPāers, and PVPāers .
āWell it is a PvP rule set realm tooā you may say.
And this is true. Many, myself included, came to the Defias brotherhood realm for its large scale battles and pvp view on things. But only in a Roleplay capacity, where it was all āin characterā, and where those partaking in it are Roleplayersā¦ thus treat each other with a degree of respect and understanding.
PvPāers, most of which, do not share this common ground of RP with RPāers. They want honour/conquest/kills/World pvp/Ganking. and so forth. And over the years, many guilds have sprng up literally to spite RPāers by flaaunting the rule set and even using it against RPāers.
How, you ask? well, its simpleā¦
1 - Using information obtained from various sources (/who on cross faction alts/private forums/storys on the realm forum) to locate Rpāers and grief them.
2 - Griefing Rpāers in the sense of making them unable to physically Roleplay. Corpse camping, attacking whenever their ātrying to do somethingā. on Defias for a whole year in cataclysm one āpvpā guild corpse camped Worgen RPāers day and night, specifically intending to prevent use of that region, later moving on to other such guilds and locations.
3 - Hit and run tactics. PvPāers attack roleplayers when certain they have a vast numbers advantage. When all dead, they continue camping. If the RPāers attempt to overwhelm or push the PvPāers off, they run awayā¦ wait for the rpāers to thin out and return to RP, then come back and resume griefing. Thus again, specifically intending to disrupt or prevent Roleplay while evading any retaliation.
4 - Event crashing. Events organised on the realm forums or private forums are taken note of, and when they begin PvPāers will show up in forceā¦ (even if its something like a roleplayed tavern night) and crash it, killing everyone and preventing RP/denying use of that location, this inevitable returns me to point 3.
5 - Forum marauding. PvPāers conciously down-vote all and any RP threads on realm forums, while also bumping their own to ensure a minimized publicity.
All in all, the current Rule sets regarding āpvpā on RP-pvp realms and how the forums are managed, is killing the RP-pvp realm type. over the years this has gradually been getting worse, and worse, and worse.
And not a thing has been done to stop it. There has been no change in rule sets, no major or noteable examples of bans, no word spoken by Blizzard oficialy via a Dev/GM/Mod or any of the sort.
So, my question is this. Will Blizzard be taking action before or after all roleplay has been chased off of RP-pvp realms (Defias Et al), or will it do what we have begging for for years, and as i hopeā¦ modifiy the realms rule set and take action. If not, then the merge of the RP-pvp realms will have been pointless, as more RPāers continue to leave in frustration while PvPāers flood in and do as they please.
It could be easily done, nobody even needs be banned or punished. Simply prevent non RP guilds from advertising on our forums and in instances of grievous harassment of roleplayersā¦ move them to a PvP realm with no way to phase over. They can keep pvpāing, but not to the detriment of an entire realm type and community. It is within your power.
Thank you for reading, and I hope to atleast get some sort of constructive reply.
Regards from Jihaan from EU.
