I like the soothing mist while moving, but don’t know why it decreases movement speed by 40%. It just makes no sense in 2025 to make soothing mist harder than it has to be to use considering most people hate soothing mist to begin with.
I like that Way of the Crane is sort of back but don’t like it’s on a choice node with Way of the Serpent. It’d be cool to be able to stance dance like in MoP. Way of the Serpent doesn’t feel like anything special it just buffs two of your healing spells and you can move slowly while soothing mist, while Way of the Crane changes your playstyle completely. It’d be nice if they added a spell only for Way of the Serpent so it doesn’t just feel like another hps modifier. Way of the Crane will be good or bad depending on how much healing it does. I wouldn’t mind the DPS being low if it means the HPS is good from it. I wish RWK wasn’t on a choice node with Jade Fire Teachings considering how little RWK does damage and healing wise. Way of the Crane MW will be dependent on how much HPS it does but it needs to be a good amount because you’re sacrificing positioning to dps/heal with it.
I like the Zen Sphere change but can see very rare instances where you get kicked trying to put it up which is annoying but not a huge issue.
I think the sheillun change can potentially be good but I’ll need to test it first. But it seems that with the Emperor’s Favor talent you can just spam cast sheillun, which would be INSANE. Again I’d need to test it and see how much healing a no/low stack sheillun does when you spam it a couple times without letting it build up. I think this change is the biggest one that will make our rotation much more fluid and less hardcasting = good. I think it’s a needed change because the DPS meta is just so fast in this game and getting kicked on MW feels awful.
The diffuse magic baked into wall is really bad considering Fort Brew is a very strong defensive already and you just lose another defensive. I don’t really get the Jade Infusion talent but it looks bad.
Uplifted spirits change is huge, it’s a free 30 sec cd reduction on revival and if you play the PvP talent it’ll be close to a 2min cd. I do think they need to buff Peaceweaver. The DPS meta is just too fast to have a long revival cooldown, this isn’t MoP 2v2 arena where it’s 15 minute games and you have a long revival cd.
Vivifys being removed from the Tea’s is really good especially for solo shuffle because you don’t oom in that bracket really. You may feel it slightly in 3v3 arena but we got mana tea buffs to compensate.
Bring back Chi (it won’t happen IDK why) that we can use for doing HPS or DPS. For example a 4 Chi Crackle silences a target for 2.5 seconds. Nothing crazy but you get to actually contribute to offense which caster mw lacks. Just give us something new it’s been the same boring healbot since BFA.
I HATE that Peer Into Peace is being removed. This is a big nerf to make us waste a 0.5 GCD if we want to swap our soothing. This is a good quality of life talent that should just be baseline IMO.
Conduit of the Celestials should not have PvP talent to make you immune to CC. We have too many important PvP talents and we have to waste a slot for it. Caster MW needs all the help it can get, just make it baseline.
