World of Warcraft (not responding)

Sorry I wasn’t clear there. By this I mean “We aren’t able to speak on the scope of support for their drivers.” While this certainly looks as though it explains the problem, and we’ve been aware of this for a while, the drivers nonetheless still SAY they support the graphics card the player is using. With that in mind, they’d need to contact Nvidia for an official stance on this - to figure out whether or not the driver is actually supposed to work for their GPU.

It’s possible they just never updated the website to remove the legacy cards from the list of supported cards/what shows up when you manually key in the graphics card info, but that’s not my call to make as a Blizzard employee. It’ll be information they want to know nonetheless, so if anybody finds themselves in this situation, reach out to Nvidia support to ensure the web page is working correctly.

Sorry, I just meant if someone stumbled onto this post they could pull that article up and check to see if their card was supported. I completely understand your stance on the matter, I just wanted to give the information in this thread so others could have a reference.

I have reached out to their web support explaining this issue and this would be my third time explaining to Nvidia why they need to put these cards under legacy support and not leave their customers wondering why they cannot download drivers.
