Sounds terrible
When Tyrande turned into Nightmare Moon during Shadowlands, it was pretty cool.
Most fanfic is.
It actually at the same quality of writing and (lets be honest) cooler cinematically then what they’re putting out right now.
All of shadowland and dragonflight reads like terrible fanfiction. It’s not even funny fanfiction, alot of it you can laugh at but the story isnt funny at all it’s just cringe

They don’t need to outlaw feelings but it might be a good idea to set a “no more hugs” policy for at least an expansion. Not that hugs are inherently bad, but some course correction is needed at this point.

The devs still portrayed her as completely incompetent. In the first attempt, she couldn’t handle an undead hunter (Nathanos) alone, even though she could have easily wiped the floor with him even without extra powers. Well, and of course, she couldn’t kill Sylvanas because… plot armor times 10.
So, I found the whole thing more than senseless. The power level of NPCs is constantly adjusted arbitrarily anyway, so it’s hard to place much value on it.
We are also old enough to look back at how cringe wow used to be and the reality of why they don’t do stories like that anymore. Member when we burnt down a tree? I member. You had people throwing out death threats to devs, 1 half of the player base calling the other half a certain socialist group and a whole lot more. That is why they don’t do that anymore.
See but what if the hug is valeera and jaina and it eventually goes further?

Baldur’s Gate 3 is, among other things, quite popular for it’s hugs… Seems to be well received.
