World of Warcraft Account Sharing Ban Wave

lol it’s like, “I’m not doing that again!” But… the other sets look good… haha but ty for that. =)

I am pretty sure they can tell the difference between someone using a VPN to play and it being someone else.

I did the Ret one last. Took 108 pulls for me. I still exclusively use this mount.

Probably the worst time to do a banned wave, this patch was supposed to help save the game, but seeing it just destroyed it more. Everyone cheering about the 30 days… it’s only 30 days, this isn’t going to stop but it’s going to continue to drop subs.

Addition by subtraction. It will drop subs of people who cheat. I really won’t miss them if they quit over this.

As someone who argued for MT nerfs (Even after I completed it), I will tell you that there are a LOT of similair names who were telling me to ‘git gud’ who are now begging to let account sharers keep their rewards.

The game is dying, I mean I can’t blame blizz but I don’t see them getting any better, because they can just make new accounts and continue to this and boost will continually being paid for. At the end of this, all that is going to happen is leave WoW to the end.

Meanwhile, those blatantly selling RMT carries in retail pvp scene are untouched  Loved queueing into the same BlazingBoost ww/rsham pair the entire season, who had 30k games played this season alone :)+

No one think it will stop some people from doing it in the future but if they did nothing, more would do it next time around. The problem with rules is people only obey them when you enforce them.

Who would have to buy a boost for the mage tower? They were so easy.

Wow…

People bought boosts for the spelltome? It wasn’t really that bad if you picked some of the easier specs for each challenge. shrug

Most of us don’t care if a bunch of cheaters unsubscribe because they got caught.

We don’t want cheaters in our community and in our game.

Those are rough still. Love them full 2.2k+s que’ing into low bracket Yolos with a single 0CR with 5 lifetime honour. Legit.

Sometimes those work in your favor though. Either ez win via slamming them first teamfight and they allow you to quickcap, or you’re just getting absolutely annihilated which allows for a (fast) soft MMR reset.

Mehhh.

Worst timing? Yeah, but honestly rather have the cheaters removed from a game around this time. Maybe help show them that they shouldn’t be doing anything in the game that breaks the rules and such and doing so could cause them to lose access to the game around when they really want to play most.

Blizzard ruined their own community, the boosters just took advantage. I didn’t get hit but with how much toxxic and folks who don’t understand that a mass was for mage tower, nothings going to change it was just directed for mage tower, there still boosters selling and carrying and it’s not going to stop.

And vise versa. Some of the community ((Those who are breaking the rules)) are ruining Blizzard because they think they won’t get caught. Regardless if there are still boosters selling and carrying and it’s not going to stop, it still doesn’t make it right to do. I have a strong feeling that if everyone just stopped buying boost ((Will never happen, but it’s wishful thinking)) I am sure they would eventually slowly go away. Won’t be instant, but we may see less than we used to in the past.

If they really wanted to stop boosting, they’d ban the buyers. Boosting wouldn’t exist if there wasn’t such a large demand for it.

Game is better off without them. I won’t miss them.

As always attack the result and not the problem. None of this would have happened in the first place if the Mage Tower was a non-elite experience. It wasn’t nerfing it to the ground but making it accessible to everyone though.

If 30 day bans at the start of a new patch doesn’t stop cheaters, then hopefully the perma-ban they receive next time will.
