I don’t think cross play is really that much of an issue. I like how they do it in games like Warzone. You can see if you are playing with a console player or PC and make a choice of whether to play with them or not. I don’t think controllers will work well with high end content like raiding and Mythic +. For leveling, etc, I don’t see any issues.
The number of consoles sold per year is tiny compared to the number of PCs sold per year.

I would like to have a mobile version of wow, honestly.
Screw those anti mobile stuff. If its a good product i would like to played it
I tried to used it, but it was horrible. It’s not optimized on anyway, to do anything remotely useful. I have to use point and click controls to move myself around, and i couldn’t just tap the abilities with my fingers, i have to drag the cursor and tap then right there.
That isn’t a mobile version of wow, that is playing wow in the hardest way posible. I would like if t least i could just tap the power i want to use directly from my screen no cursor moving or anything.
I wouldn’t mind legacy servers being on console with shared with pc users.
However if Retail goes console they need to segregate the communities because as the game gets expansions you don’t want to be held back by console limits
