Last Friday, i started playing my 2nd protpally seriously.
I started around 4100 GS. Whispered a 10 man GDKP groupleader “Trust me bro”.
I had 10k gold.
Did 10 man ulduar, 6 hardmodes, a net plus of 4k gold and some nice items.
Directly after that, i searched for a 25man GDKP all normal mode, whispered the leader “Trust me bro, i got 6 hardmodes down in 10 man”, got 3 items and another 2500 gold plus.
At the end i hat GS ~4500, +6500 gold.
First GDKP started at around 2 PM.
Now, since we are at the forums, where “trust me bro” does not work as well as it does with finding GDKP:
You can still see the crap gear that this char came from, like the fact that hes still wearing 213 pvp ring/bracers for tankgear.
Then you have no problem with Gold, that is way enough for GDKP, unless you want to instantaniously buy highly contested items.
As for your problems with Grandpa Raidtimes, thats another story.
You might need to search for a Realm where theres GDKP all the time.
I play on Venoxis-EU, you can pretty much find a GDKP here 24/7.
Never bought gold, have 45k right now, after buying the repair mount and the dalaran ring and upgrading it. Running a couple gdkp each week (10 and 25). Some things ARE expensive in a gdkp. We downed hardmode 10m Vez and the 1h mace with socket dropped, went for 41k. I got outbid, but at least I got 4k gold from just that one boss.
Also, if you mostly pug, once you get geared up, what is the incentive to raid? You are never going to get much gear for that OS in a typical MS>OS pug because there will always be MS rollers.
Knowing the Classic community, probably someone who wants to use it to bash people over the head with their perceived superiority. “$TFU idiot don’t argue with the guy who has Val’Anyr!”.
Games literally going to be people talking with each other on social media applications about how they forked out RL money on a item in the game that 90% of them are not even going to use effectively in pvp or pve. It’s just to stare at and talk about.
Wow really turned into like a cosmetic game like kim kardashians nut fest or whatever it’s called on the mobile.
Considering people pay RL money to PLAY the VIDEO GAME it’s like borderline insanity now. I don’t understand why they don’t just spend those $15 a mo on makeup and like make a facial blog or something.
This was supposed to be a game where people could easily get together and go on pvp and dungeon adventures, it’s like someone wanted to just turn it into their little weird politcally correct baby. (which is really funny if you play their older games and see how they basically put all kinds of stereotypes about races and women in their games. While the company is basically a wall street frat getting ahold of a video game company).
Also if they utilized GDKP, they either spend WAY too much time sitting at the computer to the point they should be concerned about blood pooling and clots, or they are the type of people that would rather dump disposable income on useless almost narcissistic and unhealthy pixels that impress children and child-adults. This is like actions being replaced by talking…
Honestly at first I was so against GDKPs(who are probably also swipers) but sometimes when you want to pug something and you know you might not get some gear anyways, or you have to miss your guild’s raid or get benched for the week, I do GDKPs, I dont expect to buy anything but at least I get a few badges in and I at least get a nice bit of gold for my time.
imagine if this game didnt have stupid time barriers that autists came up with.
It’s like playing monopoly but every time you pass go you have to take an hour break. Completely pointless. Also, has anybody ever thought about maybe the reason for PUGs and not GDKP was to be more inclusive to newer players and create a healthy progressive raiding community? Yeah you crapped on that by becoming narcissist.
The funniest thing is this: I did more PUGS than guild groups. PUGS had more control over the raid, had more fun during the raid because it was challenging, and it was a way to prevent privatization on the server. BTW most of the time I went to a guild’s group, the majority of their people on discord are absolute immature social weirdos trying to hit on somebody. IMO guild groups are like trying to create comfort out of a nightmare, puging was like being the underdog. When you were a PUG you were expected to act right, guildies basically get constant “passes”. It’s annoying to be tied to people to be honest. I guess the sheeple can’t see this.
Different is Im not so deep into it that Im claiming autists created game barriers and claiming people who are doing things I dont like are narcissists.
Its either a break from the game or anger management sessions, up to you. We all support you in your recovery process.
Don’t talk to me like you think your above me. Your not and your also not much different to be fair it seems. Anger management? I was actually clear with my points here and they are from past experiences. You can take that as an opinion you don’t agree with, but trying to slandar it up like Im loosing my mind is not the case here.
