Theres not too many games out nowadays that are griity or mature. Nowadays everything seems to be overly cute or even worse some weaboo anime crap. Gotta give credit to D4 tho the aesthetics there are the bees knees.

“Not too many games,” except the ones that got the most hype in the past couple of years: Elden Ring, God of War, RE4, Dead Space, Diablo IV.
People like to talk about how games should be an “escape from reality,” so it really shouldn’t be surprising when plenty of games are bright and whimsical…given the drudgery of people’s day-to-day IRL.
