It has nothing to do with server population.
There is a pserver with 15,000 players online at once. They still manage to get rid of the bots reliably. It just takes actual effort and some common sense.
For example the game is capable of tracking your exact position in space. Pservers created scripts that auto ban people who fly hack in vanilla, because itâs common sense that mages canât phase shift through a tree, while mixing against gravity, then run 500ft in the air. Likewise there are boots in Classic that literally teleport from black lotus spawn to black lotus spawn and then loot them from underneath the ground. Youâre telling me that blizz canât figure out the guy fly hacking below the ground, that is also literally teleporting thousands of yards in a second multiple times a minute, and somehow looting every single black lotus spawn on the continent is cheating?

How hard is it to have ID verification/facial recognition ID requirements to make accounts.
There are plenty of other apps and games that require this in order to combat bad actors.
The blizz leaders donât do anything because like old twitter, they are using the metrics to boost earnings reports to the board.
