Likely all that content is classified as “Event” or something like that, and the issue is with the event spawning code.
I’m even more surprised this issue is still occurring at the moment. That’s a pretty big issue with a lack of visibility about what’s going on on their side.
When was the last time anyone saw a storm in Thaldraszus? Yesterday morning, back when 2 storms existed?
seemed to be about every 2 hours Friday night 8:45 to 12:05ish am 4 kills 2 realm groups. Hope you have better luck next time. Does seem to come soon after the big fish quest comes by (which the quest happens 2 times while waiting. Obviously the 2nd time.)
Yeah I kept getting white-quality bags, even though it’s my first hunt of the day.
Annoyed, still waiting on getting a Centaur Trophy Necklace and it’s been a few days now of doing hunts and getting next to nothing.
All the people that ignored the storms for a year suddenly noticing they are a thing. 
Apparently someone was getting credit for Azure Span Firestorms while it was actually Firestorms in the Plains. (This was EU)
Because they were meaningless events that didn’t give anything interesting.

I didn’t ignore the storms, I did them regularly for the quests that were there at the start of the expansion.
Once I was done with all that, I stopped doing them. Nor were any of the rewards tied to “you have to do different locations, and/or different types”, none of that mattered. They all dropped the same kind of dust.

The quality of the hunt rewards reset weekly, not daily, so this would only be an issue if your first bag on Tuesday was trash.
Fire in Waking Shores… seems to be the only one that spawned

Pretty sure this is the third Waking Shores Firestorm today but I could be misremembering because at this point I wouldn’t put it past the broken system to do 3 Waking Shores Firestorms in one day.

I had a WQ that had a manuscript listed as reward, and as I was flying to it, MIDFLIGHT, it disappeared off the map and an entirely different WQ popped up much further north with a different goal and reward.
Every since they went to 1 the ele storms have not landed in Thal. Seems to be an issue they’re in no rush to fix
