Working in Zandalar achievement not awarded

Has happened to two characters now which suggests it wasn’t a one time glitch.

Each had the Professional Zandalari Master achieve for getting one profession to 150 Zandalari skill points (both were prior to 8.1). Neither received Working in Zandalar upon getting their second to 150 points post 8.1. Neither has a racial skill bonus, they are both 150/150. The achievement just didn’t fire.

Interestingly, credit was awarded for both in the Zandalari Master of All account-wide meta-achievement, so the server certainly acknowledged the target being reached.

I have the same issue.
Finally got around to maxing my Engineering yesterday, but didn’t get the achievement granted.

Same here! I finally got Jewelcrafting to 150 via some Laribole and Scarlet Diamond staff crafting (both 3 star plans giving +2 ranks ups per craft). Cheevo didn’t pop. The Meta has both BS and JC checked (which are my two professions). Only “difference” is that I’m Alliance so the achievement is “Working in Kul Tiras”, but that shouldn’t matter.

Add my tailoring/enchanting alt to the count.

TL;DR: I put in ticket for achieve I ought to have, get told “no”. (Remove spaces for image link, btw.)

Edit: To clarify, I’m in the same circumstances as the OP.

This character already had 150 in Tailoring, so when she reached 150 in Enchanting I expected the achievement to be rewarded to this character. It was not.

–Insert canned response.–

Just so I’m sure I’m understanding this correctly: Even though I obviously satisfy the requirements on this character, you can’t reward the achievement “Working in Zandalar”? ht tps://i.imgur. com/0cLlMIr.jpg

Hey, --snip–

I’m Specialist Game Master --snip–, the Dragon of White! I just cannot thank you enough for how patient you’ve been, I really appreciate your patients here.

I am soo sorry to hear about the sheer amount of grief that Working in Zandalar has been causing you. :c I can only imagine how upset and frustrated you must’ve been not seeing the achievement pop up.

I did want to follow up and answer your additional questions here.

I can absolutely understand the philosophy of granting the quest, however, there are some draw backs to this. Some that we really do need to address. In the past, we’ve found that when Customer Service ‘band-aid’ fixes a bug, often times, it resulted in QA not even knowing there’s a bug; for years, priority 1 bugs went completely unchanged just because players wouldn’t report it. :C

Since the obvious solution for players was to get Customer Service to band-aid it, n’ the bugs still in-game, continuously plaguing the community, creating more Customer Service contacts. We instead want to shift this issue to a bug report to QA. That way the overall issue is looked into, and fixed correctly.

I my self looked on my characters, out of my 7 120’s, 2 of them have the achievement, however, it does appear as if my overall achievement tracker has the same points overall.

Looking into your account, I can thankfully see that Alayea has gotten the achievement so far!

I am sorry for the heart ache, I really and truly am in the bottom part of my heart. :C But, we really do want to encourage a bug report.

Good bye, and I do hope that you have a wonderful rest of your day, and happy holidays! Stay warm for me!

The “Cooking Impossible” brawl seems to award the achievement for some reason. At least for me alliance side.

EDIT: It pops upon starting the brawl.

Just completed the Darkmoon Faire profession quest on my jewelcrafting alt, which pushed her to 150 in Zandalari Jewelcrafting. She had already long since maxed out mining, but guess what happens:

Yes, I get a redux of my earlier experience with my tailoring/enchanting alt. (See my older comment a couple posts above.)

I have to wonder if it had anything to do with them both having a 150 primary profession prior to Patch 8.1… Going to ticket about this again, and I’m not settling 'til I get the achievement properly rewarded.

Update: Finally got a GM who agreed with me and granted the affected characters the achievements! Guess I can put this back now. ┬──┬ ノ( ゜-゜ノ)

Confirm issue. I just reached 150 enchanting on an alt and did not get the achievement.

Keep an eye on the top of your chat crawl the next time you log that toon in. I believe all of my toons that had not received this achievement, were awarded it the first time they logged in after some recent patch (maybe the Season 2 one?). Perhaps it is now in the sorta-fixed class of “next time you log in” achievements. There’s a few of those.
