Worgen Tails, sure but what about CLAWS?

Yeah, same for me with Illidari. If demonhunters could use their wings as their flying mount, I’d be sold.

For worgen to fight with their claws, the easiest I would say is to add a “hide weapon” option to transmog. Likely only for melee weapons. It would then automatically use the unarmed combat animations, which NPCs use all the time. This seems like the most likely possibility too, since they added the hide shirt, glove, etc options just recently.

Heck no man. That 40% sprint is one of my favourite things about Worgen. It’s saved my butt more times than I can count in hard content–especially on my DK.

I loved Worgen when I started playing this game, but I couldn’t get into the whole “Hey look, I’m a werewolf hitting people with daggers and I have claws just as sharp!” seemed dumb to me and thus I never made a Worgen.

Also if they can give Demon Elves double jump then they can give Wargens super jump!

Than again they should just give us all double jump.

It didn’t make sense to me at first either, and I always thought hunter or spellcaster classes were stupid for worgen. That worgen should have been a berserker hero class instead of a race.

But really, there’s lore to support each of the classes they can be, including stabbystabby. Inhuman strength and dexterity mean melee weapons can be wielded to great potential. Acute senses and eyesight give archers and snipers an extra edge, and greater arm-strength means you can carry even larger and more powerful bows.

Even so, the claws especially are still there to fall back on when your weapons cannot do the job. Wolfheart shows how Genn Greymane fights in battle as a worgen, using a sword in one hand for piercing armor, and his left hand free to rend flesh with bare claws.

I don’t think worgen need to follow werewolf folklore to a T

they just need to seem beastly enough to not just be humans in a fursuit, and they’re doing an ok job of that, would do better with a tail maybe

and we’re assuming they add tails within the new customization structure, so tails shouldn’t need to be tied to their own skin color slot anymore

there are some situations this wouldn’t work, shield block with claws sounds goofy, but for things like fury, all rogue, or frost dk it should work great

infusing your claws with frost would be badass

In Heroes of the Storm, he shapeshifts in and out. He uses a one-handed gun and a vial for ranged combat, then transforms into a worgen, and his abilities change to be melee, using his claws/fangs instead. It’s pretty dope.

Would be neat. I wish I could hide my claws as a Pandaren, they are crazy long…

On top of that, one of his HotS voice lines says the gun is just for show

I loved him as a Warrior Bodyguard in Legion, my Warrior is also a Worgen.

Dude you are nitpicking. Besides I never said I don’t think Worgen should have a tail option, just that I’m not all up in arms ready to storm Blizzard HQ if it doesn’t happen.

Also, on the other note, yes I don’t mean hiding guns or shields or such, that would be silly. But I do mean hiding our melee weapons.

never not until i get gothic makeup on all races and scales also a whip so i can beat my undead slaves and the worgan dogs

Tail or not, it doesn’t matter. Worgen look terrible in armor

mawling isn’t a dog or wolf thing. Biting is… worgen should have larger fangs!

Never personally bothered me. Then again, my worgen are a mage and a warlock so… I don’t hit things anyway.

Worgen players sure are a demanding lot.

At least we aren’t the non-existent High Elf players.
