You’re failing to see the issue. Even if you do catch up, and force them to use all movement abilities, You’re probably out of slows, stuns, roots, and everything will be on CD unless you are a warlock.
Pre Mists, the first monks you encountered in game were in scarlet monastery which is populated by humans and only 2 zones away from Gilneas. Even the revamped SM has a monk boss. Lore wise, you can make worgen work as monks via the scarlets. Blizzard has not written that lore, hence no worgen monks in game.
Scarlet monks also refute “you must have zen balance to be a monk” as scarlets are anything but balanced.

I am honestly getting scared because worgen have got minimal for “new” stuff for Shadowlands. I will honestly not play if this is what they are going to leave them with while seeing all the other race get jewelry and options out the wazoo. It’s been said in many threads on what they can do for worgen and Blizzard just plain ole ignores the community on what we want.

This isn’t at all just a thread about tails or classes, as is made clear in the title and first post.
The classes make perfect sense in the lore. I’ve heard people claim worgen are “too savage” in the same breath that they are “too civilized” for other things, so I don’t buy that. There are already worgen paladins in Hearthstone, the game where we first saw plenty of things that entered the WoW lore later, like tortollans.
And it’s all a moot point because Blizz can do whatever they want with the lore, anyway, even though it’s already feasible in the lore that exists. I would hope that the various races in various factions would learn from their counterparts over time*, otherwise we have a very static world.
*: like how everyone other than - arbitrarily - the Cata races could suddenly be monks when the pandas arrived; if undead couldn’t be monks initially, it would be the same case with them, they would be considered too savage/at war with themselves. It’s the same case as when people used to say worgen could never be playable.

Male worgen, and many other races, could use a better posture, imho. Looking like you had a botched back surgery from a back alley doctor is just no good.

the scarlets… aren’t worgen though.
Technically the dk worgen aren’t Gilnean. Why couldn’t worgen monk’s be turned scarlets?

Every race should be able to be priests and monks. There is no reason why they shouldn’t. This would give highmountain tauren a cloth class, and LF draenei a leather class.
Also it makes logical sense.
Also, give worgen tails.

Worgen really need more love in this expansion. We got next to no new customization (didn’t even get a solid true black fur that we have always needed), we have barely any settlements that have Gilnean architecture that aren’t abandoned, everything interesting about our culture was appropriated and done better by the Kul’tirans, we have never had any worgen-focused content outside our starting zone and crappy “you’re a Gilnean not a worgen” heritage armor quest, our lore never gets expanded (like with new classes)…
Can we at least get good customization options? And maybe even not have males that feel inappropriately short next to the females and literally everyone in the Alliance except the shortest races?

You could at least space out your troll bump a little better.
The worgen in the PTR are insanely behind in customization compared to the majority of the other races.

Yes to everything. I’d love mostly to be able to use my claws as worgen and to be a worgen as my druid, like dude, why should I turn into a feral little kitty when I’m already a feral brutal worgen, a more powerful form than the cat one itself lorewise e.e
Having the posture option would be nice too, and every other thing sounds good and not crazy, it should be possible. BLIZZARD, you should listen to your playerbase already.

Looking around the PTR at the different options and going through what worgen get was… very depressing to me today - I really hope they work on that. I’m still baffled why we don’t get a solid true black fur. That’d be so easy to add and it seems so obvious. D:
And if I could tank as a werewolf without needing a shield, or to turn into a bear, or to technically be undead? Tank in worgen form as a druid?
I’d main a druid so fast. It’d be easier to implement worgen druid forms for tank and feral now more than ever, with the barber shop druid form options.
