Worgen still need work - solid true black fur, posture for males, tails, paladins and monks

Just delete worgens.

You have to figure that they would run out of time to significantly update customization for every core race. Looks like Worgen, Gnomes, Goblins, and male Blood Elves are the ones they ran out of time for.

And most of the allied races… I also don’t think they did a whole heck of a lot for humans (especially male humans), but whatever I guess.

Can’t say I’m surprised by the ultimate results we’re currently seeing from this. Here’s hoping it doesn’t take them ten more years to do more for the worgen (and other races that got left behind).

Maybe we can see more things for worgen being added along Shadowlands?
It could be!

Give worgen tails

And make Giant Growth my permanent size, I feel more powerful. :sunglasses:

Another new build, and still no more new options for Worgen. With PTR likely going live this week, it looks like we aren’t getting anymore new Worgen form options before Shadowlands comes out.

I don’t think they’re finished with character customization. Even once 9.0 releases they said they will continue working on it.
I am hopeful for worgen tails at some point.

I never said they are completely finished with character customization. I just don’t see them adding too much more in the way of new options before Shadowlands release beyond polishing things up.

Even then, the next patch to focus on new customization options will likely prioritize Allied Races before they focus on the Core Races again, unless of course the Core Races aren’t considered finished enough yet.

I definitely feel that some of the Core Races have not received enough in the way of new options (particularly Worgen, Goblins, and male Blood Elves), and of course I am also dissatisfied with scars being linked to faces (and also skin colors for Humans) for three of the player races.

So far, it doesn’t look like scars will ever be their own separate options for Humans, Kul Tirans, or Worgen. That really depends on how hard the scars are baked into the face textures and if they have clean source files that are just the scar textures.

Otherwise, they’d probably have to recreate the scar textures from scratch in order to separate the scars from the faces.

Also, there are no more big waves of new customization options coming. The Development Notes were updated to say that most customization options have been implemented and the part about character customization updates in Work in Progress was deleted.

They’re done adding new Worgen options, so no true black fur color, no tails (no surprise), no scar options separated from face, etc.

I swear I at least wanted that solid black fur. I figured everything else was a pipe dream, but I really wanted that, especially after seeing the white and textures for it supposedly being datamined.

It’s hard to even express how sorely disappointed I am.

Giving this another nudge, with all the customization shouting going on right now.

Go be a furry somewhere else

Don’t like upright options, tends to be excuse to make crap mogs get big upvotes in r/transmogification, and people just not interest in cool race unless they look more human like (or in this case furry like) as much as possible, not sure how i feel about that

I want them to be taller.

If they bump up their size to achieve that, that’s fine. If they give them upright options to achieve that, that’s fine.

Male worgen being smaller than females just because Blizz wanted females to be “the sexy ones” (as they do with all monster races) is very dumb. I want to be a big scary monster, not scary monster hunched all the way to not even compare to night elves in size. Worgen in the lore are 8-10 feet.

I don’t identify as a furry. I play a werewolf, not a furry. I’m not a tauren, a panda, or a vulpera for a reason.

I’m very curious as to the state of male worgen ears in the PTR. Do they actually animate again? Haven’t gotten it downloaded yet to see.

Lettuce have shamans too, since kul tirans can be shamans, Kul tirans are humans, therefore, we can turn them into one of us, and bam, worgen shamans

Lettuce also have demon hunters, because the worgen curse is night elf in origin, therefore night elves can be infected, therefore demon hunters can be infected, therefore we can DH worgen too.

Werewolf tank might be enough to get me to level a new character. Definitely want

how many threads do we need on worgen tails, and wanting classes that make absolutely no sense in the lore, much less would benefit disproportionately from Darkflight?

They already have priests, warlocks, and deathknights, what other classes do they not have that lack in mobility and would disproportionately benefit from Darkflight?

Paladin and Monk disproportionally would benefit. Good luck catching that worgen monk in pvp!

You give Darkflight entirely too much credit; if you struggle to catch the monk it’s going to be because they chi torpedoed halfway across the map and not because they popped a 40% speed buff that’s affected by slows.
