Lightforged Draenei not having monks is silly because their introduction quest whole deal is with a guy that literally punches things with the light.
Also I am (or was) a monk main so that always made me salty I couldn’t be a glowly holy monk.
No, because Worgen do not have the focus that is needed to be a monk, because their willpower is soley used to keep from going totally feral. This is similar to how DH’s fight to keep country against their literal inner demon.

If tauren, HM tauren, draenai, pandara, and vulpera can be graceful, why cannot worgen?
If it is fun for another person, and doesn’t effect you at all, why put it down?

By your logic orcs and blood elves should still be struggling with the lingering fel (literal pure disorder) corruption. The same as demon hunters just far less advanced. Thus they should also lack the focus to be monks.
Also I will remind you that blood elves, save 2, were never fully trained as demon hunters. Don’t make me explain this to you again in another thread. I still have my John Stewart spinny gif for when I win the argument and I’m not afraid to use it a 3rd time. 
Your character’s existance is the embodiment of adjusting lore to fit fun, so you do not get to use lore to impede others’ fun without being a hypocrite.

Inner peace is nothing more than a Pandaren racial. Where in the lore does it strictly state that Worgen can not be a Monk? Even if it did state otherwise we have examples of several other races also struggling with inner problems that can be monks. So we have quite a contradiction there.
If you actually did the Worgen starting quest you would know that this is a non issue.

Blizzard has stated this when monks were released. Also, the Legion expansion’s theme was heavily on DH’s being needed to defeat the Burning Legion. It’s Blizzard’s game and not yours, so look up the statements to educate yourself.
I di d do the be Worgen start quests in Cataclysm, and the night elves in under that tree taught the Worgen about self control.
I think worgen would look really cool in brewmaster stance.
okay so why are worgen allowed to be discipline priests then, when one of the old discipline priest abilities was literally called “Inner Focus”?

Citation needed. As the person who made the assertion, the burden of proof is on you. This is how disagreement resolutions work… at least among the educated. Maybe I’m wrong and you get to use the John Stewert spinny on me.

Worgen and Goblins not being able to be Monks, lore-wise, was more related to geography than self-control. They both started in areas inaccessible to Pandaren trainers to teach them the ways of the Monk. With the new starting area they put in that all races can access, this seems to have gone out the window.

No they did not.
What Blizzard did state was due to Worgen and Goblin Starting zones being time locked to pre-cata it would make absolutely zero sense a pandaren would be there during those times. More so for Worgen than Goblin in this case.
Exile Reach solves this thus Worgen and Goblin can easily be allowed to be monks.

I’m still baffled that Worgen & Goblins are locked out of being Monks. I don’t understand why Tauren & Draenei can’t be rogues when they’ve both had trackers/scout-esque NPCs who can stealth.
Priests wield the Light, they aren’t beacons of the Light like Paladins are. Paladins are filled with Light. It’s like the difference between a mage and a shaman.
Always wondered why worgen monks don’t exist, especially since if you get turned into a worgen from a bite the monk animations still work.

And that shape changer guy toy that people always drop in raid. You know the space mummy guy. If you get a worgen or goblin boss all your animations work.
If my dog can physically kick me off the couch, worgen can kick people and throw punchies. Plus they look less silly than draenei, as someone who once mained a draenei monk lol.
